INTRODUCTION
The basics we need to include in equipment that can remove
moisture from the air so that it can be dry and cleaning it from any
dust or any undesirable particles Is
Using A very simple process that includes filters dehumidifying
system

Humidity, all that muggy air. It can make you swelter even
more on those warm summer days and nights. It’s
uncomfortable and not much fun. reducing the humidity levels
means levels of comfort are immediately increased. also, it
helps to breathe easier. Also cleaning out the dust and dirt in
your air conditioner will prevent these particles from
traveling into your vent and around your home .

FAN A fan is a device with fixed blades (usually curved) . it works by
sucking in the air, running it through the filters, and expelling clean
air.

FILT ER S Once the air is draw in, it should pass through a series of filters to remove
any dust, dirt, or other contaminants.

DEHUMIDIFIER
To dry the air, you would need a dehumidifier that can remove
moisture from the air.
the steps that a dehumidifier takes during operation:
Air is drawn into the unit by a fan Air passes over the
cooled coils. As the air is cooled, its moisture condenses,
and water falls into the drip pan or removable bucket Air
is then reheated by the heat recovery system Air that is
2° Celsius warmer and considerably dryer disperses back
into the room.

EQUATIONS AND CALCULATIONS:

We know that the equpment need to Using the formula:

process 300 cubic per min so we need to
V= flow rate required/cross area of the duct.
calculate the air velocity and need to blow
to get 300 cubic feet per min. Assuming a square duct with dimensions of 2 feet
Cross area = 2×2=4ft²
V=300/4
=75ft³ per min
So we need a Fan that could suck in air at 75 ft per min.

EQUATIONS AND CALCULATIONS:

Assuming that the dust in air 5% So we Also we need to control the temperature of the
need to choice a filter with a suitable air, we will need to use a temperature control
airflow rating to handle the 300 cubic feet system such as a heater or a chiller. The specific
per minute flow rate. type of temperature control system required will
depend on the desired temperature range and the
ambient temperature. Assuming temperature
between 50°F to 60°F And after that calculating
the heat or cooling capacity Q=UAΔT.

SUMMARY
In summary, designing an equipment to clean and dry air
with controlled temperature for a special process with
300 cubic feet per minute requires careful
consideration of several factors, including air
cleanliness, humidity, and temperature control needs. By
following the above steps, a suitable equipment can be
designed and tested to meet the required specifications.
