6. What are some of the main criticisms that have been levelled at the Waitangi Tribunal
and its work and how, if at all, can they be countered?
7. In what ways has the Waitangi Tribunal developed and applied principles of the Treaty of
Waitangi in its published reports? Answer in relation to claims concerning land OR
fisheries OR the environment OR Māori language and culture OR Wai 262.
