    the word computer derived from the word compute which means to calculate. computer is a electronic and programable device designed to accept data and information.

    PERSONAL COMPUTER

    is a multi-purpose computer whose size, capabilities, and price make it feasible for individual use, mostly use at homes and offices. Personal computer can be a desktop
    computer or a laptop,netbook, tablet or a handheld PC.

    WORK STATUION

    workstation is a special computer designed for technical or scientific applications it hasadvanced graphics capabilities, large storage capacity.

    MINI COMPUTER.

    computer has more higher storage and higer memory capacities rather than pc and workstation.

    MAIN FRAME

    Is a computer used primarily by large organizations for critical applications like bulk data processing for tasks like censuses.

    SUPER COMPUTER

    Is a particularly powerful mainframe computer. Among other computer, this type of computer has a high level of performancs and it considered as a fastest computer nowadays.

    Computers with high performance are used to stimulate dynamic process in Science and Engineering.

    Objective of computer in business is transaction processing, which involves transactions with suppliers, employees or customers and make these transactions easy and accurate.

    Medicine

    Virtual reality technologies are also used for training purposes. It help hospitals to maintain a database of patients’ history, diagnosis, X-rays, live monitoring of patients.

    Information

    It helps to teach students about the development and management of business databases, computer networks, web applications, and software systems.

    Education

    Computers imparting education to become easier and much more interesting than before and computer also let everyone when it comes to storing important documents.

    Games and Entertainment

    Computers have now become an integral part of the entertainment industry. They are used to edit movies, create full length cartoon movies, multimedia presentations etc. the
    advent of computer technology came the ability to preserve artworks in digital format as well as speed up art distribution and professional promotion via the web.

    4 : WHAT IS A CENTRAL PROCESSING UNIT

    Is the brain of computer.containing all the circuitry needed to process input, store data, and output results. The CPU is constantly following instructions of computer programs
    that tell it which data to process and how to process it.
