SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

This study, known as a Web Based ID System for Cainta Catholic College benefitted the

school to manage and protect individual identities. Web-based ID systems can be used to create a

secure online community where students, staff, and parents can communicate and collaborate.

This can help to improve the school support student success. Web Based ID System considering

enhancing the security and safety of the students and faculty are of significant importance to the

school. Other benefits of this study are to help increase security by providing a reliable means of

identifying individuals. In addition, a Web Based ID System can be utilized to store and manage

dominant data such as records, and contact information for students and their families. It can

make it easier for the school admin to access and update the information as needed.

Researchers - This study served to investigate different types of Web Based ID System and

identify their strength and weaknesses. Researchers can analyze the data generated by Web

Based ID System, they can study patterns of Web Based ID System usage, and identify areas

where additional support might be needed on what they want to achieve by conducting and

implementing this study. The result of the study will be serving as a guide to other researchers

who would like to pursue the same study for further development and improvement.

School Administrators - The administrator of the institution can focus on the improvement of

the overall safety of the school campus by controlling who enters and exits the premises. The

implementation of a Web Based ID System in school can help administrators improve security,

simplify access control, enhance efficiency, and facilitate better communication with parents and

guardians.

Students - The Web Based ID System can help ensure the safety and security of students within

a school. The student entering at school campus wearing their IDs, it’s easy to identify that they
are students of Cainta Catholic College. Security Guard doesn’t allow any unknown person to

walk inside without an id of school. In addition, it can be used to manage various resources in a

school, such as library books, equipment’s, and other purposes within the campus of school

using their ID.

Parents - The parents can issue visitors IDs that allow them to access a certain part of the school

premises. This can improve communication between parents and school staff, leading to better

outcomes.

Teachers - The teachers also benefited to improve their effectiveness and efficiency in a variety

of areas in a way to respects them and other ethical considerations. Also, provide teachers with

the tools they need to enhance safety and improve administrative efficacy.

Future Researcher - The study will significant to the future researchers. The system can be used
by researchers as a reference for the future projects.

Hypothesis

Web Based ID System for Cainta Catholic College also raise concerns about privacy,

security, and potential misuse of personal information. Web Based ID System to be designed

with strong privacy and security protections, and for individuals to have control over their own

personal information. The purpose of a Web Based ID System is to provide a way to uniquely

identify individuals or entities for the purpose of authentication.

Synthesis On Related Local and Foreign

The above collection of both related literature and studies provided by the researchers of

this proposal Web Based ID System for Cainta Catholic College. The gathered elements will

serve as support for the various studies that provided information about the system. According to

the previous researchers, the new system significantly improved in terms of efficiency,

functionality, and reliability but had not achieved significant improvement in usability,

particularly in the user interface. In addition, it helps to improve the security and privacy of

students and teachers and to manage important information detail of individuals to provide

secure access to school facilities. Furthermore, the system aims to provide an efficient and

effective way of monitoring the attendance of students, especially in large classes.

Moreover, the study found that the Web Based ID System improved the school's security

by reducing the incidence of unauthorized persons entering the school premises. The system was

developed to help the admin to update the record data every semester and make self-enlistment

that would assist the new students and teachers to the schools. The Web Based ID System helps

the school admin to keep secure individual important information and makes it easier by

checking and updating individual's status at every start and to the end of the school year class.

Additionally, develop a system that will guarantee the privacy and security of information saved

in a database.
Theoretical Framework

The Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) was a widely used theoretical framework in

the 2000s for understanding the acceptance of ID systems (Davis, 1989). The TAM explains the

factors influencing users' acceptance and use of new technologies, such as perceived usefulness

and ease of use. Huang, Li, and Liang (2008) applied the TAM to a study of biometric

authentication technology in an ID system and found that perceived usefulness, ease of use, and

trust were key factors in determining adoption. Overall, the TAM has proven to be a useful tool

for understanding the factors that shape users' acceptance of ID systems and has been widely

applied in research in this area.

The TAM has proven to be a valuable framework for understanding the acceptance of ID

systems, as it allows researchers to identify the factors that shape users' attitudes toward new

technologies. By understanding these factors, organizations can design ID systems more likely to

be accepted and used by their target audience.

However, there are some limitations to the TAM that should be acknowledged. For

example, the model does not account for the social and cultural factors that can influence users'

acceptance of technology. Additionally, the TAM assumes that users are rational actors who

make decisions based solely on the perceived usefulness and ease of use of a system, when in

reality users may be influenced by a wide range of factors.

In conclusion, the TAM has been a valuable framework for studying the acceptance of ID

systems in the 2000s and beyond. By identifying the factors that influence users' acceptance of

these systems, researchers and organizations can design ID systems that are more likely to be

adopted and used by their target audience.
