    Grandpa
    My name is William. I was born in 1935 in a small village. My father was
    a farmer and my mother was a housewife. Now, I’m the oldest person in
    my family but my memory is still fresh. I remember my childhood as a
    happy time in my life.
    I didn’t go to school for many years. When I was fourteen I had to help
    my father in the farm. Every morning I fed the cows, worked in the fields
    and went to the market to sell the products. I was a shy boy but I was
    generous and kind to everybody in the village. I had some good friends there. We used to play hide
    and seek, hopscotch and marbles. We enjoyed ourselves a lot. We were free.
    At that time, there weren’t any technology so my father couldn’t call me on the phone. When I
    didn’t come home early, my father used to shout my name loudly in the neighborhood.
    In the evening, my parents and I sat around the table. We ate fresh and healthy food (fruits,
    vegetables), milk and homemade bread. I can’t forget those days, they were amazing!
