Attendance

Executive Summary To summarize the session, the 3-day INSET training was
accomplished. The topics assigned each day were carried out
successfully. Resource speakers have their own strategy in
presenting and facilitating their topics.
The teacher-participants were very participative. They are very
open for suggestions to improve. The program management team
performed their duties and responsibilities during each session.

Program Objectives Terminal Objective:

At the end of the session, the teacher- participants are expected


to promote the continuous professional improvement of the staff of
the school system. Furthermore, by attending the training, teachers
will be involved in participative and collaborative learning in the
teaching profession.

Enabling Objectives:
Teachers are expected to:
a. acquaint with the implementation of Catch-up Fridays.
b. determine the kind of assessment strategies suited to
learners.
c. familiarize with the Guidelines of School Governing Council

d. know how to build relationship with the community.


e. create an Individual Development Plan.
f. craft Monitoring and Evaluation Plan
g. make a Project Proposal and Completion Report
h. know how to manage classroom structure to engage learners
individually or in groups through meaningful exploration.
i. identify strategies that enhance learner’s skills in numeracy
and literacy.
j. apply different reading strategies in teaching.
k. review the Revised Blooms Taxonomy
l. refresh the mind of teachers in making Action Research
m. identify Intervention Strategies for Students At-Risk
n. devise a Strategic Intervention Material
o. understand the different Stress Management Techniques

Key Results After the implementation of the L&D Intervention Program,


the teachers are expected to apply what they learned through
the submission of required MOVS required in each topic.

Encountered knowledgeable about the topics assigned to them. The sessions


were sustained until the last day of the training without any
intervening factors met.
 Trainer/facilitator – when it comes to facilitator, it is apparent that
the facilitators were very resourceful when it comes to the
discussion of the topic. During their discussions, they even
shared their own examples and experiences about the topic
assigned to them.
 Participants- the participants are eager to learn new things. They
are also cooperative especially when making their output. There
were topics that really required patience in listening and
understanding but they were able to cope up easily,
 Content of program- the topic discussed was significant to the
teachers’ needs and very timely.
 Delivery strategies- when it comes to delivery, yes there are
problems encountered but it was managed effectively.
 Training materials- soft copy of the topic was provided to the
participants.
 Program management- the proponent of the program cannot say
that the training was perfect, but she makes it a point to provide
the needs of the participants during the training. The committee
assigned were very responsive.
 Prior to delivery- before the delivery, the proponent made a pre-
implementation plan which was stated in the training proposal and
training matrix.
 During the training proper- the program was not really followed
according to what was set in the schedule. But then the
proponent was able to make a good and wise adjustments.

Recommendations In this section discuss any recommendations you may have to improve
future programs. Suggestions may cover program management,
facilitation, session guides, resource materials, other concerns)

In relation to recent program conducted, the proponent of the


program sees that there is a need to improve the program in a sense that
there is a need for the session to be done in a longer period for effective
application of the learnings gained.

MONITORING AND EVALUATION RESULTS

A. Participants’ evaluation of the program

Based on the evaluation made by the participants almost all of them strongly agreed
that the session started and ended on time. They also strongly agreed that the topic and
activities discussed were relevant to their work. All in all, the objectives were all attained.

B. Facilitators review of the program

When it comes to facilitators’ review of the program, most of them strongly agreed that
the session was carried out successfully and that the speakers have the mastery of her topic.

C. Program managers review of the program

In view of the program managers’ review, they strongly agreed that the training program
was delivered on time. It was managed efficiently, and it was well-constructed. The teachers
needs during the session were given importance and active response.

D. Strengths and areas for improvement

The strength of the training is that the program content was appropriate to the participants.
On the other hand, most of the participants requested to make it five days for a deeper
understanding of the topic and for the making of an effective MOVS.
