CELEBRATIONS

21st December 2023 final round of Maths quiz was conducted. Each team consist of two students one from
IX and one from XI .Winners were awarded on Mathematics Day.

National mathematics day was celebrated in BGS National Public School on the 22nd of December to
honour the 136th anniversary of the birth of the great mathematician Ramanujan.
The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Ajay Sharma, the regional director of Rachna Sagar Pvt Ltd
and Dr Manjula Devi, the academic director of Vagdevi Vilas Institutions. The importance of mathematics
was understood, and the beautiful intricacies of the subject were appreciated by students and adults alike.
There was a myriad of events, some to entertain and others to work your brain, from fashion shows to an
intense final round of the yearly Math Quest, this event had it all.
The final round of Math Quest had fun and engaging challenges for the lower classes and the senior
students took part in interesting and thought-provoking quizzes.
The Bodhi Art Show was conducted in BGS National Public school on the 21st of December. The Guest of
honor was Mr. K Somashekhar and the esteemed judges panel consisted of Mr. Bharath P and Mr. Diwakar
NS.In the season 10 of the Brush Strokes competition students from all grades, channelled their creativity and
imagination into their paintings and created true masterpieces. Each student was able to express their ideas
and thoughts through the skilful strokes of their brush.
The display of the students’ artworks, all lined up truly a sight to behold. Each piece was unique and
mesmerizing, the art show was appreciated by all.
In a world ever-evolving, where change is the only constant, we find ourselves navigating through the currents
of time. Each moment, a fleeting opportunity to embrace the unknown, to adapt and grow. Life's journey,
much like an extempore speech, unfolds without a script, urging us to articulate our thoughts on the fly.
Extempore speaking plays a crucial role in the holistic development of students, offering a range of benefits
that extend beyond the immediate act of addressing an impromptu topic. It improves communication skills,
enhances critical thinking, boosts confidence, promotes creativity. Interhouse Extempore was conducted on
13th December 2023 for Juniors and Seniors category.

The Christmas celebration, infused with the harmonious notes of the band, exemplified the spirit of unity, joy,
and creativity. The campus community together in a celebration of the festive season.
The school's transformation into a winter wonderland, complete with a majestic Christmas tree, Santa Claus,
and an array of enchanting decorations, created a magical atmosphere that lingered in the hearts of all who
walked through.
The Christmas celebration, featuring an external band and a dance-filled atmosphere, became a highlight of
the academic year. It showcased the power of music and dance to bring people together in joyous celebration,
fostering a sense of unity and creating lasting memories. As students dispersed with smiles on their faces and
the echoes of the festivities in their hearts, it was clear that this Christmas celebration would be remembered
as a joyous jingle that rang in the holiday season with unforgettable flair.
Trips provide opportunities for learning outside of traditional classroom settings. Visiting historical sites,
museums or natural landmarks can offer hands-on experiences. This firsthand experience fosters cultural
awareness, tolerance and a broader perspective of the world. Traveling often involves stepping outside one's
comfort zone, leading to personal growth. Facing new challenges, adapting to unfamiliar environments,
Trips provide opportunities for social bonding and relationship-building.

Trip to Amritsar, Wag border, Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bhag, Delhi-Humayun’s tomb, Red fort Lotus
temple, India gate and Taj Mahal Fatehpur Sikri was organised from 15th December to 19th December.
ACHIEVEMENTS

NCSC (National children’s Science Congress) Bangalore Distinct Level selection was held on Monday 4th
December2023 at KRVP, Banashankari. Varunavi Kumbar of class XIC has got selected for state level
competition. She attended the same on 22nd and 23rd December2023

WE are extremely Glad to share that Prajwal NH of XI B had the incredible opportunity to get selected and
attend the prestigious "Young Entrepreneurs’ Boot Camp (YEB)" at Birla Institute of Technology and
Science, Pilani in Dubai.
Young Entrepreneurs’ Boot Camp (YEB) at BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus is a week-long residential program
designed to give a glimpse of technology driven innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem at BITS Pilani.
YEB consists of sessions by eminent professors, industrialists, distinguished alumni and hands-on activities
that give students exposure to high tech labs, multinational corporations, global investment trends and
innovative startups.
He is honoured to win the First Prize in the "Elevator Pitch" competition at the Young Entrepreneurs’ Boot
Camp (YEB) hosted by BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus, UAE. The Elevator Pitch was an exhilarating and
empowering experience where he had the opportunity to passionately present an idea along with his team.
Furthermore, in the same event, he is honoured to graciously receive the esteemed "People's Choice Award"
under the Humanitarian category!
Adding a heartfelt touch to this remarkable achievement, he was also awarded a 100% waiver on the
Admission Fee upon enrolling in any undergraduate degree program at BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus.
Bangalore Sahodaya Schools and My Master’s Strokes conducted Mega Inter school CBSE Art integrated
competition 2023 with theme Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat Programme. Senior Category selected for finals
and they received participation certificate.
