THE BUSINESS
Cuppa Fate’s primary target market will be students, professionals, and tourists. Both
groups are heavy consumers of coffee and snacks. The group might dine out frequently
three times or more per week. A majority of the customers will be person’s who enjoy a
relaxing atmosphere, conversation, and who wants to read while enjoying their cup of
coffee.
The local customer base consist of approximately 2,700 customers, at least 800 customers
per week.

To build up customer base, we will advertise Cuppa Fate through posting banners and giving flyers
during launch period. We will also have social media pages to promote our business, where all about
Cuppa Fate will be posted to make people know, like, and trust our business.

Cuppa Fate is committed to provide a friendly, comfortable atmosphere, where the customers can
receive quality products, services and entertainment at a reasonable price. Our management team is
consists of active, accommodating and knowledgeable management staffs that are united with the same
goal which is to bring satisfaction to our customers while fulfilling their duties and responsibilities.
The management will apply from the local government unit concerned pursuant to Executive Order No.
71 and 72, for the approval of plans for coffee shop establishments of the following:
Cuppa Fate is a sole proprietorship business owned by Glophebie Faith Almodiel, a licensed Civil
Engineer. The business will be funded by the owner using her own salary and savings as an engineer.
However, the owner considers her family as her partners and sponsors of the business because they
offer financial support if ever the business ran into difficulties.

1. Disfunction of machineries (coffee machines) Make sure that the equipments or machineries
are annually inspected before buying and using it.
2. Workplace injuries Employees must undergo sufficient training in
order to perform their job as safely as possible,
reducing potential harm to themselves as well as
customers.
3. Fire hazards Dispose of waste properly, specially flammable
materials. Make sure that the shop has been
inspected by the fire officers.
4. Possible drinks and foods contamination Ensure to uphold a clean kitchen and food
preparation area. Ensure foods and drinks is
heated or cooked properly. And make sure that
the ingredients is safe to be consumed.

O1+T2 – Along with coffee, we can expand our product range by giving snacks, and other such goods to
our customers. It’ll not only be an addition to our products but also bring some extra income, which help
us to afford costly suppliers.

betterment of the business.

specializing in specialty coffees. In addition, Cuppa Fate will also offer soft and fresh-baked pastries at a

My personal motivation is my family. I am willing to do everything for them. Ultimately, I am doing this
for them. I want to spoil and give them everything that they didn’t experience before. Whenever things
get tough, I will just think of them to keep myself motivated.
2.2 EXPERIENCE
Cuppa Fate will be the first business that the owner will produce since she just decided to establish this
as her sideline business while she’s working as an engineer. Hopefully, soon she will have more business
if Cuppa Fate will gain more profits.
