Letter of Motivation
Dear Sir/Madam
I am writing to express my interest in the position because of my skills and experience. My
first interests are education/language teaching, social science, training and facilitation, gender
equality, online work from home, translating/adapting/ subtitling/ official and online documents
of the NGOs, and office administration, including project learning.
Firstly, I am eager to learn from the best team, and use the best resources and
simultaneously apply some of the knowledge, skills gained from volunteering and translation
experience at NGOs and teaching the English and German Languages to advance my personal
and professional career. To develop this work scheme, I am willing to offer skills such as hard
work, diligence, perseverance, good working individually and fantastic adjusting to working as a
team, advanced written and interpreting English Language skills, develop a positive attitude, etc.
I taught English Language skills to children from a young age in a private school named
“The Cambridge School” in Gjakova. One of my many tasks was to develop learners’
competencies and skills in modern society. and this ability encouraged me to learn soft skills on a
day-to-day basis in an increasinglydemanding world environment.
I completed my early school years at the elementary school "Mazllom Kepuska" in
Gjakova, Kosova, and I was known as an ambitious girl who fulfilled her studies with excellent
results. I was engaged in the department of Mathematics & Informatics in Gjakova, and I learned
the basics of mathematics and informatics. I earned my bachelor's degree in English from the
University of Pristina in 2013, and my master's degree in the English Language in 2018, and I
was one of the top 10 classmates to use communication/language for academic and career
purposes.
I was involved with administrative tasks at NGO “Kosova Development Centre” where I
ensured the overall administration and additional support of the project. Besides, maintaining
project correspondence and communication; collecting registering, and maintaining project
activities I learned the establishment of cooperation with other organizations, local and central
government, civil society, and community building through the process of project
implementation.
From February 2011 till December 2014, I started internship work at Kosova
Development Center, an NGO in Gjakova. This experience has helped broaden my knowledge of
translation practice in the KDCs agriculture field activity. The strategic goals of KDC include the
development of civic society and aid to groups in need.
During the years 2013 - 2014, I taught the English language at the primary school “Fan
S.Noli” in the village of Dujaka, Gjakova teaching children from third to ninth grade. Many of
the teaching lessons were compiled of (essays, assignments, icebreakers examples from the real
world, etc). Translation of different materials for learners to compare words from English to
Albanian and planning the lesson by putting the learner at the center of the learning cycle.
I was also part of a summer project at Gjirafa Inc (search engine machine) where I provided
online services and facilitated the translation process by focusing on core technology products for a
market of around 12 million people.
