• About the Company:- Newgen Software Technologies is a global software company that develops software products,
including creating and providing end-to-end software solutions that cover the whole range of software services, from workflow
automation to document management to imaging.

Key Points:-

• Revenue Streams:
1. Annuity revenue: The Company obtains recurring fees/charges from the following sources:
a) SaaS: licence subscription costs for cloud-deployed platforms; on-premise subscription
b) ATS/AMC: costs for annual technical support and licence maintenance (including upgrades).
c) Support: fees for development and support services
2. Software product sales: one-time upfront licence costs with respect to the on-premises platform.
3. Service sales: installation and development fees depending on milestones, as well as scanning fees.

• International Reach:-
The company has over 530 active clients in 73 countries. It now has a direct presence in seven countries. It has clients in India,
the United States, Canada, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, the Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore,
and Australia, among other places.

• NewgenONE Platform:
It's a comprehensive, unified platform that supports native process automation, content services, and communication
management. Contextual Content Services (ECM), Low Code Process Automation (BPM), and Omnichannel Customer
Engagement (CCM) are the three primary components of the NewgenONE platform.

• Patent Portfolio:
So far, the company has applied for 44 patents. Newgen was granted 5 patents, bringing the total number of patent grants in
India and the United States to 23 as of March 2022.

• Acquisition:
'Number Theory Software Private Limited' was bought by the company during FY22. Through its enterprise AI platform and
data science skills, it provides Artificial Intelligence ('AI') platforms to diverse organisations. The target company's promoters
would get a Rs. 7 Cr closing payment from Newgen. Furthermore, the founders would be paid a total of Rs. 7 Cr over a three-
year period. Newgen would also provide an ICD of Rs. 2.4 crore.

• Significant Deals:
➢ The company took on a medium-sized project for a US-based bank that operates a network of banking locations in several
US cities. Furthermore, it entered into a Cloud agreement with a system integrator for a global vehicle manufacturing in the
United States. It is also a winning bidder for an RFP issued by a large public sector bank for the provision of an end-to-end
digital lending platform solution and services. Over a 5-year period, the total Order Size is Rs 486 Mn.
➢ Cloud agreement with a private sector bank in India with 727 branches spread across 16 states and three union territories.
➢ A mid-sized project for a renowned Indian private sector bank with a nationwide network of 1,300 banking branches.
➢ Additional mining business from UAE’s largest bank.

• Strategic Focus:
The Company continues to concentrate on boosting Annuity/Subscription Revenue Streams, particularly expanding SaaS
implementations. It also intends to increase its market share in key geographies and solutions. Furthermore, it seeks to grow its
client base in the banking and healthcare sectors in established countries such as the United States and the United Kingdom.
