 What’s New
Listen as your Mother reads the story for you:

Out of many gifts given to Luther King, he

was more happy to receive a toy car. With that, his
mother used to buy him toy cars every special occasion
and pay days. His friend, Sian used to visit him and play
with his toy car collections. All his toy cars are placed on
a big toy car garage. Can you help them sort and count
the toy cars according to its color?

2
Now, let us arrange the toy cars in a different manner. We
placed the toy cars in a box with the same color and
grouped them together.

red

blue

pink

black

yellow

Based on the new arrangement, we can say that

most of his toy cars are of blue color.
The car toys with least number is color pink.

3
There are 3 yellow car toys.
Black toy cars are fewer than red colored toy cars, but,
there are more red toy cars than the black toy cars.
The arrangement of toys is neatly presented and easier to
interpret using the picture graph or pictograph.
