Wild about animals
1) Brian McMillan runs a training school for people who want to work with wild and
endangered animals. He’s the most famous animal trainer in Hollywood!
2) Brian’s students usually begins with a one day seminar at his California ranch, learning some
of the tricks of the film business. Brian demonstrates how to get a Bengal tiger to pretend to be
angry for films like Th Jungle Book and how to work with grizzly bear cubs so that they are
gentle and cute. Students can even bathe the elephants.
3) On longer courses the trainees learn animal management, handling and training techniques
and veterinary care. Lectures always include safety, equipment, animal psychology and
practical handling skills. It’s a fantastic opportunity to work with endangered and exotic species
like leopards, monkeys, elephants, lions, birds of prey, wolves and more.
4) At the end of their courses, many students choose to join Brian’s volunteer programme. They
spend every day with the creatures to build a strong bond. It’s the best way to become a
confident and skillful animal handler, and it leads to great career opportunities in the animal
industry.

The Golden Gate Bridge
The Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, USA, was built between 1933 and 1937. The idea for
building the bridge was first suggested back in 1872, but at that time the project was felt to be

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart lived between 1756 and 1791 and was one of the greatest
