On November 4, 2023, at 9 am, our weekend activities began with self-administration.

Each of
them checked layout equipment such as a hairbrush, small notebook, iron pen, tie clip, tie,
cigarette, lighter, white and colored handkerchief. This list of items has also been distributed
and explained in the "whatsapp" media group so that all students do not miss the equipment
that is mandatory. Not forgetting also the administration of our accommodation, the items in the
room have been carefully arranged so that the room is tidy and not left unattended. Some also
make preparations by buying electronic equipment such as fans and clothes hangers and room
sweepers. In addition to the time given, the students took the opportunity to go to a nearby
laundromat to wash and dry the clothes that had been used during the course that had passed a
week ago. The next activity is to find a shop around the Melaka area to have breakfast. This is a
golden opportunity for students who crave a menu of their choice. Among them, some are
looking for Malaysians' favorite foods, namely roti canai and nasi lemak.

On the morning of Saturday 4th November 2023 at 1000H, 27 Young Officers of the Royal
Artillery Regiment went out around the Melaka area to carry out several activities that have
been planned to further strengthen the friendly relationship between the young officers. Before
doing the next activity, the young officers were given time before 1430H to do self-
administration.
On the evening of the same day at about 1430H, a number of Young Officers of the Royal
Artillery Regiment held a beach volleyball game at Kundor Beach located in Tanjung Kling,
Melaka. In the area there is also a beach soccer court that allows visitors to have fun. The
prescribed clothing is shorts and black glasses. The beach volleyball activity started with the
division of teams consisting of 6 players for each team, 4 linesmen and a referee. The condition
of the match is that the opponent must get a score of 25 points to win a match. Each point is
counted when the ball enters the opponent's court area. Deuce is counted when both opponents
have tied at 25 points and 2 points will be added to determine the winner. The match started at
about 1445H after the young officers did a little warm-up before carrying out the sports activities.
During the match
was going on, there were some traders selling fruits on the shores who greeted us and had
joined in to watch the very interesting match
between the two teams playing in the beach volleyball court. All Young Officers have given a
high commitment during the volleyball sports activities.

On 1000H in the morning, all young officers are required to gather at the Malacca Submarine
Museum near the Klebang beach. When all the young officers arrived at the museum, we paid
RM 5 for each person to enter the museum. As we entering the museum, a large submarine
appeared in front of us.

According to the information provided, the Submarine French Ships (FS) Ouessant Agosta 70 is
a training submarine for submariners KD TUNKU ABDUL RAHMAN and KD TUN ABDUL
RAZAK. This submarine was brought home by the Malaysian Ministry of Defense and handed
over to the Melaka State Government to be immortalized as a museum at the Maritime Museum
Complex, Melaka. The work to bring the submarine home from France was carried out on 9
October 2011 and arrived in Malacca on 12 November 2011. The main purpose of the FS
Ouessant Agosta 70 Submarine Museum exhibition is to introduce the history of submarines
and their functions and roles in our country.

This submarine named Agusta 70 operates as a training submarine for the Malaysian navy, and
has also been used in various tasks during its service. After completing its service, this
submarine was converted into a part of the Submarine Museum in Malacca for educational and
tourist purposes. Previously, this submarine had a strategic role in maintaining the maritime
security of the region. After retirement, the initiative to utilize it as a museum allows visitors to
see the interior of the submarine and understand the history, technology, and life inside the
submarine.

We also had the opportunity to explore the various spaces inside the submarine and gain a
better understanding of the submarine's role in military history and life at sea. The specific
history of the mission or task carried out by the submarine before retirement may not always be
available in detail at the museum, but information about the evolution of submarine technology
and their role in naval history is usually part of the exhibition at the Malacca Submarine
Museum.

This kind of experience can only be obtained here because this is the only submarine museum
in Malaysia. We were also able to learn a little bit about the mission or task that the submarine
was carrying out. Before leaving, we took the opportunity to take a photo in front of the
submarine museum as a keepsake

The Melaka International Bowling Centre (MIBC) that created a record of sorts when it opened
its doors in August. The 52-lane centre (back-to-back 26 lanes) is not only the largest in
Malaysia but in Southeast Asia as well. Built according to the guidelines of QubicaAMF, the
global leader in bowling and entertainment products, the MIBC took two years to come to
fruition. It opened its doors to the public on August 1 after the official opening by the Chief
Minister.

The company that will make the Chief Minister's vision a reality is Benua Aspirasi Sdn Bhd.
Appointed by the Melaka Government to manage the MIBC, its task is to ensure the success of
the centre. The MIBC is equipped with the latest QubicaAMF lanes, pin spotters and scoring
system. The hosting of the QubicaAMF World Cup in indeed going to further elevate the status
of MIBC and could well see more top level competitions being organized here. Melaka could
well be the new fulcrum for the spot of bowling in Malaysia.

several hours with 6 players for each side of team. 25 points for each round and
there were 3 round all together for each game. All of us played it with sportman
ship spirit and enjoyed each of the game together. During the game, the food and
drinks also had being prepared. The foods and drinks were prepared by food
commitee which were fried banana and syrup lychee ice. This game had made
our bonding more strenght due to the cooperation that needed to win thw beach
volleyball game.
Aftet that all of us went to take a bath at our room befire the night activity which
was walking at jonker street. Jonker street also known as jonker walk. It is the
main street at china town, melaka.this place is popular for the shops selling
clothes, antiques and souveniurr apart from being a major street food hub. The
highligjt of jonker street is the night market that held there every saturday and
sunday which was the night that we wanted to go. The street not just about it
delicious food but also about it artistic creations and borgaining. This street truly
depict the fast, jolly and rich cultural life of malaysian that rich in rac3s and
cultures. During at the jonker walk, we also had an assignmnt to get umber from
stranger that were differ gender from us which was a girl. We walk at the jomker
street for a few houra then went back to take a rest for tomoorow activity.
On the next day, 5th of november our activity started like usual with was

submarine that was showed at the museum is a france made agosta class 70.
The named of the submarine was quessant. This submarine was used to trained
the first royal malaysian navy crews from 2005 until 2009. At the museum there
were also jet and flight that were showed to visitors. Thia visit had open our mind
to love our history and heritage for the next generation. This submarine can be
proved to young generation tjat malaysian army was upgraded time to time.
After visit th2 museum we went towarda malacca bowling international centre.
Alla of us played together and having a very memorable timw together. Although
at the bowling centre qas crowded, we still had a chance to play it. Then, all of
uw hadunch together and went towards our own path for self admininstration.
Before 2100H, we need to go back at camp and report to duty officer at mess.
That all about our wonderful weekwnds together with such a meaningful activities
. I hope weekends like this will happen for each week in this 1 RAD Para camp
because it increase our moral value and our spirit in this army sector.

In the evening, we were assigned to gather in the Jongker Street area to carry out a task given
by our officers where we were assigned to meet and get the phone numbers of several girls. For
me who came to Jongker Street for the first time, I was very interested in the area and the many
shops selling various foods and various types of goods. We also didn't miss the opportunity to
take a photo and buy some souvenirs for our family and friends . Jongker Street is also known
as shopping heaven. There are various shops here that sell almost anything but one of the most
popular is the antique shop. Near the night market, you will be served with a wide selection of
food, toys, clothes, electronics and more. One of the things that makes Jonker Walk special is
the street performance. If you are on vacation with children or family, they will definitely be
excited. We have been treated to an action-packed show that make us stunned and entertained.
In Jonker Walk there are also many other attractions such as mosques, temples and temples
located in a row. It really reflects the unity in our pluralistic society. In fact, the architecture of
this mosque, temple and temple is also a combination of the three Malay, Chinese and Indian
races. Just so you know, Jonker Walk is very popular, many hotels, homestays and
guesthouses are available here. In fact, many foreign tourists stay at this guesthouse in Jonker
Walk. We were all excited and had fun while doing activities in Jongker Walk before returning to
the Terendak camp.

In my opinion, all of those activitiea that had being done during our weekends
give all of us many benefit and lesson. First make our bonding together more
stronger due to cooperation eapecially during playing games together. This is
because when we played the beach volleyball we need to maintain our position
and support wach other to win the match by getting the highest score in each
round. Second, made an organise system in doing something. For example,
before we started our activities for weekends, we had discuss with eacj other in
the class and manage to create a timetable or flow of the activities that make us
more systematic. Then we also learned on how to be more confident infront of
unknown people. During walked at jonker street, we need to find at least 3 phone
numner of girl that we dint know. It also teach us how to communicate with
stranger in appropriate way
