MONTHLY SHES PERFORMANCE REPORT (MAY 2022)
We achieved 2 Million workhours without LTI on 10May2022 for entire project. Annual Safety Day was conducted
on 12th May, which was well recognized for its planning, employee engagement and execution. Safety
Observation Program witnessed a significant improvement in number of observations being 11,488 (increase of
33.9% over last month).
To reinforce the message of STOP WORK AUTHORITY whereby everyone on Project understands the basic
principle i.e. “Everyone is authorized to stop WORK if they are in doubt about the safety of an activity”, a card
has been issued to all personnel. The card includes a dedicated number to which one could call in case of conflict
situation when the other party was not paying heed to suggestion to stop a work.
Heat Illness prevention is one of the top challenges for the Project with opening of multiple work fronts and
ramp up of personnel from Subcontractors. Heat stress mitigation measures are being proactively identified
planned and implemented using a team approach involving SHES and Construction members from SCT,
COMPANY and Subcontractors.

5 SUMMARY OF INCIDENTS
NFE2-SCT-INR-00037-2022, FAC: 30 Apr – Hyundai Livart, EPC 2 Camp, Zone 2, West side perimeter
fence
An electrician, whilst detaching pipe hard barricade from the "A" frame, barricade pipe fell on to his left foot.
The IP was doing relocation and installation of barricading pipe as he was part of utility excavation, the pipe
slipped from his hand from the knee level height and fell onto his left foot. The IP reported the incident to
his Supervisor, who halted all activities, informed the SCT SHES Coordinator who in turn planned
transportation for the IP to LOT N3 FAU. JOC was informed.
The IP was seen by the SCT nurse, was administered first aid, and returned to camp as he is fasting.
An IP (Bus Driver) was performing cleaning activity inside the bus. He found one of the window curtain not in
the right position. So while correcting the curtain position his head, having safety glasses on it, slightly hit the
overhead luggage compartment resulting in minor cut on his head.
First aider attended the IP and later IP was taken to FAU at LOT N3.
