1. Planning Information

A. Effectivity
PT6T-9 Power Sections.
B. Concurrent Requirements
You must do this service bulletin on both power sections of the same aircraft.
C. Reason

(1) Problem

The software in the EEC does not include a single bias for training, torque,
compressor turbine rotational speed (Ng) and measured gas temperatures (MGT)
limiters.
(2) Cause

The original EEC software did not include these limiters.

(3) Solution

Introduce a new EEC which has a new software version (V04.02) that incorporates:
v single bias for training, torque, Ng and MGT limiters; and
v correct lower range limit for torque.

D. Description

Replace the EEC with a new one or reprogram the EEC on airframe.
E. Compliance

CATEGORY 5 - P&WC recommends to do this service bulletin when the engine is

disassembled and access is available to the necessary subassembly
(i.e. module, accessories, components, or build groups). Do all
spare subassemblies.

F. Approval

D.O.T./D.A.A. approved.
