General Guidelines

1. Participants must be fully vaccinated and physically fit;


2. Each Category is open to all bona fide employee of ECDI;
3. Participants must be well mannered and disciplined;
4. Each Department must have 1 entry of group from each event.
5. For Socio-cultural events, a d e p a r t m e n t can only participate in up to 1 (individual
event) and 1 (group event).
6. For the sports events, a department can only participate in up to 1-2 (group event)
and 2-5 (individual events).
7. Each department must submit the names of their contestants to the human resource
committee/as per events in a folder with a photocopy of the vaccination card a n d
assessment to be presented to the managers or contest in charge.
8. Participants are not allowed to perform if their name is not present on the list;
9. All contested events will be conducted physically in the ECDI FIELD;
a. Participants must present their ID or name.
10. No protest or complaint shall be entertained as judgment is done with finality. Only
queries and suggestions shall be entertained for future competitions;
11. General Champion will be awarded trophies for the overall winners in all
categories

12. A point system shall be used in all contested categories for the overall ranking;
a. Individual events
First Place--------------------- 5 pts.
Second Place------------------3 pts.

b. Group events
First Place--------------------- 10 pts.
Second Place------------------7 pts.
Third Place----------------------5 pts.
13. Winning participants and c o a c h e s will be g i v e n a certificate of recognition while
non- winners will be awarded a certificate for participation.

2. Basketball men and women
3. Volleyball Men and Women
4. Darts men and women

B. SOCIO-CULTURAL EVENTS

HIGHLIGHT: The Search for ECDI King and Queen 2024

A Sports Fest is an event where people compete or participate in sports for


trophies or awards. It is a place where people can show off their skills in various sporting
events. The goal of this event is to increase community productivity; it is a great way for them
to improve their skills. The goal of this event is to promote community communication,
collaboration, and teamwork, as well as to promote better physical health. There are
several goals I hope to accomplish with this event. First, I want to bring them joy so they
can be stress-free. Second, I want them to have a healthy community. Finally, I want this
event to be a success without any obstacles or flattery.

The event's concept would be a local event composed of people from the
company, with a simple but sporty theme. This event would include a variety of activities
similar to ball games, such as basketball, volleyball, and so on. There is also badminton
and dance competition for all. This activity would have a significant impact on the people,
and they would undoubtedly enjoy it, and this event would undoubtedly stand out.

The duration of this event is 4 days.

1st day – Opening of the event

- Registration of the players


- Parade and Torch run
- Opening of all sports
- Sports registration

2nd day – Begin of all games

- Single Elimination
- Semi-Finals

3rd day – Final


- Final matches

4th day – awarding

- Awarding of winners
- Closing program

Flyers will be my marketing strategy; I will print flyers and distribute them to the
company to keep them informed so that they can participate.

MECHANICS AND GUIDELINES ON THE SOCIO-CULTURAL EVENTS

1. WE L L NE SS DANCE

1. The dance selected must only be a one-straight dance from the list of approved dances for
the festival.
2. Live instruments only and no canned music.
3. The dance should be done within 5-8 minutes only. 1 point deduction in the total score for
every 30 seconds below the exceeding time of the presentation.
4. The maximum number of performers including instrumentalists is 16 and a minimum of
10.

The decision of the judges is final.

11. SEARCH FOR THE 2024 ECDI CAMPUS KING AND


QUEEN

1. Each program will send only one (1) male and one (1) female representative;

2. Each candidate must be a certified employee of the company; It has a good moral
character.

3. There should be identified 1 make-up artist and 1 assistant per employee. Hiring
make-up artist from outside is discouraged.

4. Presentation of the candidates is on april 11, 2024, for proper briefing.

5. The competition will be divided into four (4) categories:

i. Native Attire
ii. Sports Attire
iii. Company Uniform
iv. National Attire (Philippines)- MODERNIZED
6. For the National attire, all candidates will wear an appropriate modernized national
attire.

7. for the Question and Answer Portion

i. The ability to speak will be measured on the depth, meaning, and


substance of the answer given by the candidates.
ii. Questions will be given by the judges.
8. Below are the criteria for determining the Best in Company Uniform, Native Attire, and
Best in Sports Attire & the Best in National Attire.
9. The decision of the board of judges is final and irrevocable.
