The table illustrates the changes in five different means of transport which were registered

in Australia in 2010,2012 and 2014. Overall, the number of all vehicles witnessed an upward
trend over the period surveyed while motorcycles rose at the fastest rate.

In terms of the two most prominent types of vehicles, the overall leader were was passenger
vehicles that accounted for 11.8 million in 2010 and it then increased by 10.2% to 13 million
in 2014. Next was commercial vehicles with 2.3 million in 2010 and the figure subsequently
saw a rise of 17.4% to 2.7 million in the final year.

Turning to the remaining modes of travel, there were 540 thousand motorcycles in 2010 and
the number then soared to 709 thousand in 2014, a surge of 30.8%. Another considerable
increase was seen in light trucks, the least popular, that increased by 23.5% from 106
thousand in 2010 to 131 thousand in 2014.Heavy trucks with a rise of 8.3% started at 384

Overall 7.5-8 A very good report; however, the obvious issue that stands out is the repetition.
You did a very good job of adding variation but the use of the phrase ‘in 2014’ is
something that needs to be addressed. It really will hang in the balance as to
whether you get penalised for it or not.
