Over the past three years, I have been seeking a destination to continue my higher education
abroad. COVID-19 and other issues caused my country to face many problems during this time,
which was why I paused my university education. My research on the internet and trying to stay
in touch with people around me who are studying abroad took up a lot of my time. Therefore, I
have decided to enrol in the Child's Dream programme. In addition to supporting children,
youths, and young adults facing emergencies, I chose this programme because it supports
children, youths, and young adults. As a result, I consider the Child's Dream Foundation to be an
excellent opportunity to travel, learn about a new culture, gain a new language, and make a
meaningful contribution to society.

Despite my passion for becoming a teacher since I was a child, I did not get the grades to enter
the education university after secondary school. My candidature for admission to the Education
Degree College was accepted, and I eagerly accepted my position as a teacher-to-be. In the first
year of my studies, I served as the general manager of the Student Union, which provided me
with valuable experience in the areas of leadership and volunteering. Furthermore, I was the best
teacher in peer group teaching and won a lot of awards by competing in every event and
competition. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I was unable to continue my studies in my second
year of college. In addition, my family is not that rich, so they can't help me with additional
education because I have four sisters and a brother. Plus, they truly believe in me, as I am
hardworking, passionate, and spirited. Besides attending free online courses, I have also been
attending a lot of free webinars related to 'Teaching in Education'. In the long run, I want to build
a brand-new education system for my students, so my teaching career will be more than a career.
It is for these reasons that teaching in education is my favourite field of study.

Firstly, I would be overjoyed and very proud of myself if I were a Child's Dream scholar. My
next step is to set up an educational programme for children with special needs who are not able
to join schools after I graduate from Asia-Pacific International University. My desire to establish
this program is motivated by a number of factors. The primary issue is that the people in our
country do not receive adequate education and recognition for special education. As an example,
a family member with a disorder cannot be accepted by the school and cannot communicate. As
conventionally believed, it was fate (Kama). I eagerly hope to share and complement what I have
learned through this opportunity and build an educational bridge for not only special needs kids
but also Myanmar children who are unable to attend school due to the crisis.

It is a privilege for me to be able to share my experience of volunteering not only in leadership

but also in educational fields. My current position is as an English instructor at Red Bridge
School, and I have served as a teacher volunteer at the Dream Ed Project since 2020.

During the year 2020, I had the opportunity to volunteer as a teacher in my village. During the
COVID-19 pandemic and other situations, my village's children weren't allowed to attend school.
Therefore, I joined Dream Ed, an organisation providing community-based education for
disadvantaged children in primary, middle, and high schools. The association had over 100
students from primary to secondary schools when I started in July 2020. Nevertheless, it was
difficult for me to teach many students of different grade levels, as my house was not large
enough to accommodate everyone. Consequently, I requested that my village chief provide me
with a space for learning and teaching. Because my village lacked teachers, I shared information
about this project and influenced my friends and friends of friends to volunteer as teachers. In
addition to gaining an understanding of leadership and volunteering, I gained confidence by
taking part in these challenges.

Additionally, I became involved with another non-profit organisation called KYC, which
represents rural youth. From March 2020 to December 2021, I worked as a promotion manager
for this association to promote our team by fielding around our village and organising teaching
activities for almost two years. It is my goal to encourage young people to come to the youth
centre for motivation and improvement during their leisure time. As part of our curriculum, we
practice critical thinking skills, leadership skills, social skills, etc., and I am working hard this
year to polish my skills. By taking this opportunity, I can share my knowledge with my siblings,
as well as the children in our village, the youths who are seeking knowledge at KYC, and the
youth coming to seek knowledge at KYC.

My decision to become an educator for children was influenced by these two non-profit
organizations. Additionally, I was a scholar in Grade 8 as well as the best teacher at the
Education Degree College in peer group teaching, and I won the award for best English
storytelling. Due to these reasons, I am a worthy candidate to be selected as a Child's Dream
Scholar. To conclude, I am confident that I will achieve the aforementioned goals and become an
expert in the education industry, therefore improving both my public speaking and cooperative
skills. My leadership experience encompasses all of this, and I intend to establish myself as a
successful leader to promote the development of rural communities.
