LITURGY
NEW YEARS EVE, 7.30pm EUCHARIST After receiving numerous positive (and no negative) comments, Father Chris has decided that services on New Years Day will be cancelled. There will be a Eucharist at 7.30pm on New Years Eve. It will mark the Feast of the Epiphany and serve as a Watch-Night service. The Watch-Night provides an opportunity to reflect on the year past and consider the year to come. NATIVITY PAGEANT - 24 December, 5.00pm The Childrens Nativity pageant will take place this year on Christmas Eve, 24 December at 5.00pm. The evening will include a traditional nativity pageant in the church lasting approximately thirty minutes, a craft activity in the Parish Centre and a bring-and-share finger food supper. We would like to include as many children as possible in the pageant - children, grandchildren, friends and neighbours. We simply ask the children appearing in the pageant come to a rehearsal on Sunday 18 December during the 10am Eucharist, and following until 1pm (snacks provided). By the beginning of December, we anticipate having flyers available for distribution. Please make the effort to invite families with school-aged children that you know.

RESOURCES
JANUARY SABBATH From Christmas Day through to Friday 27 January, all parish events and meetings are cancelled, with the exception of Sunday Eucharists. This enables breathing space for leaders and volunteers, and will help us launch into the new year feeling refreshed. Father Chris will be working throughout this time as normal. ANGLICAN MESSENGER The Anglican Messenger is our monthly Diocesan journal. It includes thought-provoking articles and news. You can pick up a copy (or several) from the table inside the door of the Parish Centre. ADVENT TRADING TABLE The Advent Trading Table will operate after services today, supporting World Vision, Prison Fellowship, Anglicare WA and TEAR. ROSTER ADVICE FORM Church Council has discussed our approach to creating rosters for hospitality tasks each Sunday. In 2012 we will be starting from scratch with our rosters . Inside the door to the Parish Centre is a blue form. On it, you are asked to provide information about tasks you feel confident doing, those you would be willing to try, your availability and so on. Please complete it and put it in the blue box provided. HOUSEKEEPING While attending to the crew from Wooroloo yesterday, I noticed a large clutter of dishes/ plates/platters left over from teas and functions which should be reclaimed. Please check to see if any of your crockery has taken up residence in the parish kitchen.
