2. NATURE OF DUTIES :

Laboratory work, Field work for blood sample collection, Health Audit and Radiation Dosimetry, etc.

3. SELECTION PROCEDURE:

Selection will be on the basis of performance in personal interview. In case the response is more, this
Research Centre reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview by
conducting screening test of the eligible candidates. The decision of the Research Centre will be final and
binding in this regard. Screening Test/ Interview will be conducted in Mumbai only.

5. HOW TO APPLY:

2. The facility of online application will be open from 15/07/2024 to 12/08/2024.

Candidates are advised to submit the online application much before the closing date and not to wait till
4. the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection/ inability or failure to login to the website on account
of heavy load on the website during the closing days.
Candidates should read the instructions in the advertisement and online application form carefully before

making any entry or selecting any option.
Candidates who have not acquired the mandatory / requisite educational qualification as on the closing
6. date for receipt of on-line application need not apply. No correspondence or clarification will be entertained
on this matter.

Before filling application form, candidates should keep ready the necessary documents/certificates
7. required. Candidates are required to fill up personal details and details of post applied for etc. and upload
recently taken front facing passport size photograph with proper plain background.

Candidates are required to have a valid email ID and mobile number which should be kept active
8. throughout the currency of this recruitment. Candidates are required to download the Admit Card from the
website of BARC. No correspondence will be sent through post/courier.
The candidate must ensure that their photograph and signature is clearly visible in preview at the time of

filling of application in online mode.
Before clicking the submit button, the candidates are advised to check all the details filled in are correct.
Candidate may also ensure that name, date of birth, etc. are entered correctly in the application form as
10. per Secondary School Certificate (SSC). Any incorrect information may disqualify candidature. After final
submission of application no request for change/correction in any of the information in the application form
shall be entertained under any circumstances.
After submitting the online application form, candidates are required to take print / save copy of the online

Application Fee:

1. Application Fee - ₹150/- (Rupees One Hundred Fifty only)

2. Mode of payment of the Application Fee is through Online.
3. Fee is exempted for candidates belonging to SC, ST, PWD and Women category.
The Application number will be generated after the submission of the application. Applicant is required
to make the online payment of the application fee after submission of application. Fee NOT paid on or

before the last date of receipt of online application will be treated as incomplete application and hence
will be rejected.
For payment of fee, candidates should click on the ‘Make Payment’ option under the ‘My Account’ menu.
The Application number generated while submission of application can be selected from the Drop-down

payment.

Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances and cannot be held in reserve for any other

6. COPIES OF CERTIFICATES:

Candidates would be required to produce all the relevant following certificates in original along with a copy of
online application and submit attested copies of the certificates at the time of document verification prior to
Interview. The candidates will be solely responsible for furnishing the requisite certificates, failing which their
candidature shall be summarily rejected. Candidates may also note that their candidature will remain
provisional till the verification of veracity of the documents by the Appointing Authority.

OBC candidate’s caste certificate should be issued by authorized authority in the prescribed format with
non-creamy layer certificate and the caste/community should have been included in the Central lists of
Other Backward Caste. The crucial date for determining the OBC non-creamy layer certificate will be the
closing date of on-line application of advertisement i.e. 12.08.2024. The OBC candidates should also
enclose self declaration of non-creamy layer status in the format as given in *Annexure-2.

5. OBC for the purpose of AGE RELAXATION AND RESERVATION will mean “persons of OBC categories
not belonging to the Creamy Layer” as defined in Government of India, Department of Personnel &
Training OM No.36012/22/93-Estt.(SCT) dated 08.09.93, modified vide Government of India, Department
of Personnel & Training OM No.36033/3/2004-Estt.(Res) dated 09.03.2004 and 14.10.2008, and latest
modification vide Government of India, Department of Personnel & Training OM No.360331/1/2013-
Estt.(Res) dated 27/05/2013 (as per the format given in *Annexure-3) & latest modification vide Govt. of
India DoPT OM. NO. 36033/1/2013-Estt (Res.) dated 13/09/2017.(As per the format given in *Annexure-3)

Candidates from Maharashtra State belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories need to submit Validity
Certificate from Scrutiny Committee as per The Maharashtra Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, De-
6. notified Tribes (Vimukta Jatis), Nomadic Tribes, Other Backward Classes and Special Backward Category
(Regulation of Issuance and Verification of) Caste Certificate Act, 2000, published in the Maharashtra
Government Gazette on 23rd May 2001.

Note: 1. In case Universities award letter grades/CGPA/OGPA/SGPA, the same will have to be indicated as
equivalent percentage of marks as per the norms adopted by that University. In the absence of the same
the candidature will not be considered for screening test/Interview.

7. GENERAL CONDITIONS:

The validity of the panel will be one year from the date of preparation of Panel. Candidates if empanelled
1. under WAIT LIST will be offered appointment ONLY in case, candidate in the SELECT LIST does not
join.
The nature of duties to be performed by the selected candidates involves working in round the clock shift

3. Selected candidates, on their appointment, will be governed by the National Pension System.
Selected candidates will be posted at LLRRL, Kollam, Kerala. They are also liable to be posted to any of
4. the Units of BARC located in India or to any part of India and in any of the Constituent Units of
Department of Atomic Energy.

Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category should clearly indicate their category in the application
5. (even although the vacancy belongs to UR category) and should furnish proof of their category in the
specified format at the time of Screening Test / Interview (as applicable).
The vacancies are provisional and subject to variation. BARC reserves the right to
6. cancel/restrict/modify/alter the recruitment process, if need arises, without issuing any further notice or
assigning any reason thereof.
The filling up of vacancies indicated in the advertisement is also subject to the approval of Competent
7. Authority and may not be filled up if decided in terms of the orders issued by Govt. of India from time to

The eligibility criteria including the period of experience (as applicable) as prescribed in the
8. advertisement will be determined with reference to the closing date of receipt of applications i.e.

It must be ensured that Universities/Institutions offering programmes like B.Sc.& M.Sc. through Distance
Education mode are recognized by Distance Education Bureau (DEB-UGC) and in case of Technical

programmes, these programmes and institutes from which the qualification obtained are recogonized by
Apex Bodies in the country such as AICTE, NCTE, Ministry of HRD etc.
Candidates may declare their educational qualifications and experience they have acquired other than

the requisite qualifications as per this advertisement.
Candidates may ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility conditions mentioned in the advertisement form
11. and fill in the correct information. Candidates who furnish false information will be disqualified for
Screening test/ Interview.

Candidates must regularly check the website. All information relating to the recruitment shall be made

 Only SC/ST candidates called for Screening Test/interview will be paid to and fro travelling
allowance of sleeper class / second-class railway fare by the shortest route as per Rules, provided
the fare of first 30 kms (rail or road) shall be borne by the candidates. However, Travelling Allowance
is not admissible to those candidates who are already in Central/State Government services,

Ex-servicemen who have already secured employment in civil side under Central Government on regular
17. basis after availing the benefit of reservation given to ex-servicemen for their re-employment are NOT
ELIGIBLE for claiming benefits of reservation under Ex-servicemen category.
Records of the candidates not selected shall not be preserved beyond 6 months from the date of

9. WARNING:

(i) Mere fulfilling of requirements as laid down in the advertisement does not qualify a candidate to be called
for Screening test/interview. Please note that no correspondence will be entertained with candidates not
selected.
(ii) Candidates will be shortlisted for Screening test /Interview on the basis of the information provided by them
in their online application. They must ensure that such information is true. If at any stage or at the time of
interview, it is found that the information given by him/her or any claim made by him/her in their online
