To identify evidence of the defense; and To serve this judicial affidavit as her direct testimony and for all other purposes as it may serve. Q: Good afternoon, madam witness. In relation your this case, do you remember having executed a document entitled Panghukumang Sinumpaang Salaysay? A: Yes. Q: If shown to you this document, would you be able to identify it? A: Yes. Q: I am showing you a document entitled Judicial Affidavit or Panghukumang Sinumpaang Salaysay. Kindly go over it. Is this the same document that you executed? A: Yes. Q: Now, madame witness. Appearing on page 8 of this document is the name Isabelle Dizon, and on top of the said name is a signature. Whose signature is that? A: That is my signature. Q: Your Honor, I move that the signature of this witness be marked as Exhibit __-1 Q: Now, madame witness. You mentioned in No. 13 of your Judicial Affidavit that Mr. Reyes has shown you a katana which he brought to a birthday celebration. If the katana is shown to you, would you be able to identify it? A: Yes. Q: I am showing you this long black object and inside is a sword. Is this the same katana that you mentioned in your Affidavit? A: Yes. Q: Okay, you also mentioned in No. 18 of your Judicial Affidavit that Mr. Said brought Mr. Reyes’ katana to the baranggay hall. Is this the same katana that you mentioned? A: Yes. Q: Do you affirm and confirm the truthfulness and veracity of the contents of your Judicial Affidavit? A: Yes. Q: Your Honor, the witness is now ready to be cross-examined.
