    A RESOLUTION SCHEDULING THE FIRST KATIPUNAN NG KABATAAN ASSEMBLY FOR THE
    FIRST SEMESTER 2024 IN BARANGAY KALANEG, MAITUM, SARANGANI PROVINCE ON
    JUNE 28, 2024 AT BARANGAY COVERED COURT, BARANGAY KALANEG, MAITUM,
    SARANGANI PROVINCE

    WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 10742, also known as the Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015,
    mandates the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) to conduct regular assemblies of the Katipunan ng Kabataan to
    discuss relevant issues, programs, and activities concerning the youth in the barangay;

    WHEREAS, Section 20 of Republic Act No. 10742 specifies that the Katipunan ng Kabataan (KK) must hold a
    general assembly at least once every six months to formulate and adopt a Comprehensive Barangay Youth
    Development Plan, and to conduct such other activities as may be necessary;

    WHEREAS, the Katipunan ng Kabataan in Barangay Kalaneg, Maitum, Sarangani Province, serves as a venue
    for young individuals to express their concerns, aspirations, and to participate actively in community
    development;

    WHEREAS, it is imperative to schedule the first Katipunan ng Kabataan Assembly for the first semester of
    2024 to ensure timely discussion and planning of youth-related programs and activities;

    WHEREAS, the conduct of this assembly is in line with the goals and objectives of the Sangguniang Kabataan
    to empower the youth and promote their welfare;

    NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of SK Chairman Hon. Annie Rose R. Mamades , duly seconded, the
    Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Kalaneg, Maitum, Sarangani Province, hereby RESOLVES, as it is hereby
    RESOLVED:

    RESOLVED, to schedule the first Katipunan ng Kabataan Assembly for the first semester of 2024 on June 28,
    2024, at the Barangay Covered Court of Barangay Kalaneg, Maitum, Sarangani Province;

    RESOLVED FURTHER, that the SK Secretary shall inform the members of the Katipunan ng Kabataan about
    the said assembly at least two (2) weeks prior to the scheduled date, in compliance with the notice requirement
    as stipulated in Republic Act No. 10742;

    RESOLVED FINALLY, that copies of this resolution be furnished to the Barangay Council of Barangay
    Kalaneg, the Office of the Sangguniang Bayan of Maitum, and other concerned agencies for their information
    and appropriate action.

    I HEREBY CERTIFY to the correctness of the above-quoted resolution which was approved and adopted by
    the Sangguniang Kabataan Council of Barangay Kalaneg, held face-to-face on June 14, 2024
