The Opportunity:

Part of a dynamic and growing team, this newly created role due to business success and growth will
see the Apprentice Manager [ Master ] be responsible for the overall management and success of
Liebherr-Australia’s National Apprenticeship program. You will work closely with internal
stakeholders to facilitate the National Apprenticeship framework while actively engaging with
training partners and industry groups to promote the program and deliver the business objectives.

Responsibilities include:

Participate, lead and manage the Apprenticeship team

Lead the Apprenticeships council, conduct reviews and seek out opportunities for development

Develop and implement apprenticeship and traineeship programs

Establish and actively participate in mentorship of apprentices and trainees

Work collaboratively with relevant stakeholders, including; apprentices, trainees, training


organisations, industry associations, unions and community-based organisations

Ensure training plans are compliant with government regulations and meet compliance requirements

Ensure financial performance metrics are monitored

Ensure administrative duties are carried out timely, reporting to internal stakeholders

Provide strategic advice to the Leadership Team including financial performance, VET policy, market
intelligence, industry changes and growth opportunities

Facilitate engagement activities and maintain regular routines with industry bodies, business
partners and training organisations
Skills and qualifications

Trade qualified with experience in mining and/or construction, or contract management and relevant

Demonstrated previous experience in similar role

Previous experience in a GTO or VET /or understanding of RTO and competency frameworks

Knowledge of apprenticeship and traineeship programs, and relevant legislation

Excellent leadership, management, and communication skills

High attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Have a people first mindset who is solutions focused and champion for change

Demonstrated mentoring and leadership experience, predominately with entry level workforce
