First and foremost I am extremely grateful to my adviser, Dr. Keno Piad for his

invaluable advice, continuous support, and patience during my MA journey. His immense

knowledge and plentiful experience have encouraged me in all the time of my academic

Abstract

Information Technology plays an important role in the future economic success

and advancement of human being for better career and future at the same time.

Information Technology leads the world to new horizon and gives so much contribution

in the advancement of better life. It has given new ways to enhance the skills and

capabilities of human resources. It has made great impact to all fields and aspects in life,

opening doors towards the success of every school in updating nation including the

country. Thus, the involvement of technology in making the student’s services available

to the students will create a modification when it comes to transactions, it will become

much easier, convenient and efficient. The development of web portal management is

essential to maintain the retention, graduation rates of the students and to advertise the

school because it is available for browsing of the students within the school particularly

Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Marikina. In this premise, the researcher developed a web

portal student services and management for Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Marikina to

make the transactions of every student services easy, faster, convenient and efficient and

also to help increase their population and with the use of web portal there is an assurance

that the school will be known not only in the area of Marikina City but all over

Philippines and in Asia as well. The researcher utilized the descriptive type of research in

determining the assessment of employees and school administrators about the status of

student services basis for the development of web portal.
