The passion to “serve pa more” was proven by Dr.Aubrey A. Beredo, the dynamic Principal III of Pag-asa National High School,
internal and external stakeholders as well as the workforce of the institution, in the first day of Brigada Eskwela, July 22, 2O24.
school campus.
In the morning before the local kick-off ceremony, a Zumba was led by the MAPEH department and with Miss Kaycee Evangelista
as the host of the opening program, the day was ushered in with vigor and enthusiasm. Mr. Joel C. Manalo led the opening prayer and
Mrs. Elinita C. Manalo conducted during the singing of the national anthem.
The presentation of plans, programs and project for this year’s Brigada Eskwela implementation as stipulated in the DepEd Memo
No.33, series of 2O24, was given by Mr. Gene D. Gayeta , the BE Coordinator. He explained that this year; we would follow the same
guidelines as provided in the DepEd Order No.21, series 2O23, with the theme, “Bayanihan Para sa Matatag na Paaraan.” Dr. Beredo,
in her inspirational talk gave a challenge to start preparing the classroom that will be conducive for learning. She also acknowledged a
Dr. Ma.Ana E.Suan, Head Teacher IV of PNHS acknowledged stakeholders present during the program. Miss Ma.Theresa V.
Rebot,the school’s MDRRM Coordinator discussed fully about family disaster preparedness. The SSLG President, Mr. Shawn
Auquines and the Teachers’ Club President, Mrs. Gregoria R. Acayang expressed their unwavering support.
Brigada Eskwela vounteers were accomodated by the committee. Refreshment was served by the school canteen, bought from
amount given by sponsors like Princess ACM. Eggs and pancit were also donated .The enrolment for junior high and senior school
also continued after the program. Moreover, classrooms were cleaned of cobwebs, floors were mopped and chairs were repaired.
