INFORMATION ABOUT THE COURSE:

COURSE DESCRIPTION This laboratory course is designed to develop abilities needed to develop, accurately locate and interpret
dimensions on and read engineering drawings.
COURSE CREDIT Lecture - 2 Units

CLASS GUIDELINES

1. Complete attendance is a must. More than 20% of the allowed number of hours of absences incurred will result to a grade of FA.
Absence due to personal sickness and death of the immediate family is considered excused. Other reason will be dealt with on a case-to-
case basis.
2. Complete uniforms should be worn on Mondays to Fridays except Wednesday. The student who fails to adhere to the stipulated attire
will be asked to change.
3. Any paperwork/report must be neat, legible, and grammatically correct in order to receive full credit.
4. Submit requirements on time. Late requirements will receive corresponding deductions.
5. Unexcused late work will receive the reduction of one grade (10%) for each day late, excluding Saturday. Late work will only be
accepted in the case of illness or emergency accompanied by a doctor’s excuse. Excused late work will only by accepted within two
weeks of the absence.
6. Quizzes will be given at the end of every topic. A make-up quiz is given only if the reason for failing to take the quiz is considered
excused.
7. A student without an exam pass will not be allowed to take the exam. A special exam will be given upon the presentation of the acquired
exam pass but must not exceed halfway to the next examination period. Student who fails to take the exam during this time frame will
forfeit the missed examination.
