    Please note that if you require a Student Route visa (previously Tier 4) to study in the UK, you will need
    a UK government approved Secure English Language Test (SELT) for entry to pre-sessional courses.
    Currently, only IELTS for UKVI and Trinity ISE are accepted.

    ***ACADEMIC REQUIREMENT***

    This offer is conditional upon you providing evidence of the award of your Bachelor degree with a final
    cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 5.0 or above.

    The confirmation of the award should be stated on a full and final official transcript or a final award
    certificate. Please provide a scanned copy of the relevant document so that we can verify that you
    have satisfied our entry criteria.

    If your qualification documents are not in English you will also need to provide official certified
    translations. All documents provided should be colour scans, either on headed paper or with an
    institution stamp.

    Please provide a copy of your official final degree certificate.

    **REFERENCE REQUIREMENT**

    This offer is conditional upon the receipt of at least one satisfactory academic reference. The reference
    should comment on your suitability for study, to include details of academic performance to date and
    potential to succeed on your chosen programme.

    A professional reference from a relevant area may be considered if your academic degree was studied
    more than 3 years ago.

    Queen Mary reserves the right to make the final decision on determining if the reference is
    satisfactory.

    Deposit

    In order to secure your place at Queen Mary University of London, in addition to meeting your conditions of
    offer you will be required to pay a deposit of £2000 (2000 GBP) towards your tuition fee.

    You do not need to take any action at the moment. Once you have accepted your offer and met all of the
    conditions we will contact you with further instructions.

    For information about your deposit, please select the deposit tile which is available in your portal.

    If you are in receipt of a scholarship or your fees will be paid by a sponsor, you may be exempt from the
    tuition fee deposit. We do however require a formal letter from your sponsor confirming the arrangement;
    please go to the "Deposits" icon on the main "my Application" page to provide this information (even if you
    have only applied for funding and not yet been awarded).

    US Loans – if your studies are to be funded by loans from the USA, either Federal or Private, you will need to
    submit a separate application to QMUL in order to process this. Full details on your eligibility and the

    How to pay your deposit

    1. Go to https://epay.qmul.ac.uk/
    2. Complete your Student Details (enter 240185406 in the "Student ID / Application Number" field)
    3. On the next page select "Tuition Deposits"
    4. Make payment of £2000

    Alternatively you can pay by direct bank transfer.
