Dear University of Verona Admissions Committee,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my sincere interest in enrolling in the Master
in Molecular and Medical Biotechnology program at your esteemed institution. The prospect of
furthering my education in this field excites me greatly.

I completed my Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry at the University of Management and Technology


(UMT), where I was honored to receive both the Dean's and Rector's awards for my academic
achievements. Throughout my undergraduate studies, I cultivated a strong foundation in biochemistry
and developed proficiency in biochemical analysis and molecular biology techniques. However, my
curiosity and passion have driven me to explore the intricacies of molecular and medical biotechnology,
particularly in finding innovative solutions for biomedical applications.

The potential of this field to enhance human health deeply resonates with me. I firmly believe that
understanding the molecular and cellular mechanisms of diseases is essential for the development of
effective drugs, vaccines, therapies, and diagnostic tests. I am driven by a strong desire to contribute to
this field through rigorous research and practical applications.

My ultimate goal is to leverage the knowledge and skills acquired from the Master's program to
contribute to cutting-edge research and development in biotechnology. I am particularly interested in
areas such as gene editing, biomolecular engineering, and drug discovery, with the overarching aim of
advancing medical diagnostics and therapeutics. My dedication to this field is evident in my previous
research experience, including my bachelor thesis project on designing a multi-epitope vaccine against
Mycobacterium leprae using computational biology techniques.

I am impressed by University of Verona's distinguished faculty, state-of-the-art research facilities, and


interdisciplinary approach to education. I am eager to collaborate with professors and engage in research
projects that push the boundaries of scientific discovery. Additionally, I am excited about the opportunity
to immerse myself in the university's vibrant academic community and contribute to its culture of
