2.4 WEEKLY CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES

2.4.1 Civil Works

2.4.1.1 Site Office Yard

• Concrete works required for the Crash Barriers and Instrument Support
Foundation are ongoing.
• Fabrication for Instrument Stanchion and Structural Pipe support.

• Activities Planned for the coming week :

▪ Continue concrete works required for the Crash Barriers and

Instrument Support Foundation.
▪ Continue the fabrication for Instrument Stanchion and Structural
Pipe support.

2.4.1.2 Civil Works

• Continue the mechanical excavation works and soil removal activities for
the Sump Pit at Crossover Manifold area.
• Installation for de-watering system.
• Removal of rainwater inside the Sump pit due to heavy rain at Cross over
manifold.
• Forms, re-bars and concreting for package substation shelter and
equipment foundation at Cross over manifold.
• Surface preparation for waterproofing and blockwork for sump pit at NTF
Transfer manifold.
• Construction of concrete trench at NTF transfer Manifold.
• Bar bending and cutting for concrete trench at NTF Transfer Manifold.
• Excavation for Sub Station shelter foundation at NTF Transfer Manifold.
• Blinding for Sub Station shelter and equipment foundation
• Backfilling works for valve pit 01 and 02 at H30 Manifold.
• Surface preparation for waterproofing and blockwork for sump pit at H30
manifold.
• Backfilling Package Substation shelter and electrical foundations at H30
Manifold
• Pre-casting of electrical and instrument foundation at HOT Yard.
• Pre-casting of Concrete Barrier at HOT Yard.

▪ Construction of concrete trench at NTF transfer Manifold.
▪ Bar bending and cutting for concrete trench at NTF Transfer
Manifold.
▪ Re-bars and forms fabrication, installation, and concreting for
Package Substation Shelter and electrical foundations at NTF
Transfer Manifold.
▪ Construction of Concrete trench around the valve pit 01 and 02 at
H30 manifold.
▪ Waterproofing and blockwork for sump pit at H30 Manifold.
▪ Backfilling Package Substation shelter and electrical foundations
at H30 Manifold
▪ Pre-casting of Electrical and Instrument foundations.
▪ Pre-casting of Concrete Barrier at HOT Yard.

2.4.2 Instrumentation Works

• Rectification of collapsed FOC Trenches at gate No.4 and Crossover

M/F.
• Cable re pulling and OTDR test to verify the healthiness of FO cable at
Crossover M/F
• Cable Tray support Installation at inside sump pit at Highway-30 M/F.

• Activities Planned for the coming week :

▪ Cable Tray support installation inside sump pit at Gate-16.

▪ Tile installation and backfilling at Gate No.04, 07 & 08.
▪ Trench cleaning all area.

2.4.3 Electrical Works

• Preparation for installation for distribution board in Highwa#30 Manifold.

• Activities Planned for the coming week:

▪ Installation of transformer for highway#30 manifold.

▪ Excavation for LV cables for Power supply units & highway#30.

• Installation of two valves 1 ½” for GL#12 at Transfer manifold valve pit.

• Hydro test - Hot Tapping joints 1 ½”for GL#12 at Transfers Manifold

• Hydro - Test for Hot Tapping joints 6” at Crossover Manifold for GL#23
&GL#24.
• Drilling for Hot Tapping joints 6” at Transfer Manifold GL#23.
• Fabrication of Pipe Support for Valve and Flowmeter pits GL#10, 11, 12
completed and sent for Galvanization.
• Erection of Scaffolding for external coating removal for cold cut and
Tapping Point location at New Gravity Manifold and Crossover Manifold
for Thickness Survey(GL#20).
• External coating Removed for Cold cut and Tapping point’s location plus
Thickness Survey done for GL#20 at New Gravity Manifold,
Highway#30& Crossover Manifold.
• Hot Bolting for GL#20 Spade location.
• Marking and Thickness Survey for 6” joints located in GL#12 at
Highway#30 valve pit.
• Welding of 2” (vent Line) joints into GL#24 at High Way #30 Valve pit.

• Activities Planned for the coming week:

▪ Welding of Hot Tapping Joints 1 ½ “at Transfer Manifold valve pit

into GL#10.
▪ Installation of valve 1 ½” for GL#10 at Transfer manifold valve pit.
▪ Hydro test – Hot Tapping joints 1 ½” for GL#12 at Transfers
Manifold Valve Pit.
▪ Drilling for Hot-Tapping joints 1 ½” for GL#10 at Transfer manifold
valve pit.
▪ Welding of Hot Tapping joints 6” at Transfer Manifold Header (CR
117), GL#10 &GL#23 at Crossover Manifold and GL#20 &GL#21
at Highway #30 Valve pit
▪ Installation of valves 6” for Hot Tapping joints in GL#20 GL#21 at
High way#30 valve pit ,in GL#10 at Crossover Manifold and
Transfer Manifold Header(CR 117).
▪ Hydro Test for Hot Tapping joints 6” at Crossover Manifold for
GL#10, and GL#20& GL#21 at Highway #30 valve pit and 6” Hot
Tapping joints in Transfer Manifold Header (CR 117).
▪ Drilling for Hot Tapping joints 6” at Highway#30 valve pit GL#20 &
GL21 at Crossover in GL#24, 23, 10 and Transfer Manifold
Header.
▪ Welding of Hot Tapping, joints 2” at Highway#30 Valve pit in
GL#20(vent line).
▪ Welding of HOT Tapping joints 6” into GL#12 at Highway #30
valve pit and Installation 6” valve Hydro test and Drilling to be
done, Hot Tapping to be completed.
