• General Objective: By the end of this unit, students will be able to express themselves with basic
vocabulary and sentence structures to describe people’s physical appearances confidently.

using the vocabulary and grammatical structures studied in the class.
3) At the end of this unit, students should be able to list questions to ask about people’s
appearances.
Activity: Time
Warm-up Describing who is: Display photos of comics (or use images 15 minutes
of famous people in the classroom). The teacher will ask the
students to develop the activity using basic phrases to Skill
describe each photo. Encourage basic vocabulary like "Fast," Speaking and
"slowly," "Tall," "Small," etc. building

Students can take turns describing each image, while others
choose their photo to participate.
After teaching this main part, the teacher will ask students to
make a small speech to describe a person based on what they
have understood so far.
They then present their character to the class, using the target
vocabulary and structures. The class can ask questions to
clarify or add to the description. (15 minutes)
Activity:
Review: Ask students to review key vocabulary from the Time
lesson, listing some examples on the board as a class. Ask 15 minutes
each student to give a quick description of one classmate (or
Wrap- up themselves) as their "key" before leaving class. For example:
“He has short black hair and is wearing a white sweater.” Skill

For homework, the teacher will assign an activity that reinforces the lesson and
allows students to practice the vocabulary creatively.
Homework Instructions: Choose someone you know well (a family member, friend, or even
a famous person) and write a brief description of their physical appearance and
abilities..
