Course Description

 This 3 day instructor-led course provides overview of the architecture,


functionality, installation and initial configuration of Hitachi Data Ingestor
(HDI) and Hitachi Content Platform Anywhere (HCP Anywhere)

 During this course you will complete numerous hands-on lab activities
designed to build the skills necessary to install and configure HDI Single
Node, HDI-VM, HDI Cluster and HCP Anywhere. You will also practice
deploying HDI and HCP Anywhere in a Customer environment

Prerequisites

 Prerequisite courses:
• TCI2741 - Supporting Hitachi Content Platform

 Supplemental courses:
• TSI2650 - Operating and Managing Hitachi Data Ingestor v6.x
• TSI2459 - Operating and Managing Hitachi Content Platform Anywhere v3.x

 Required knowledge and skills:


• Knowledge of Hitachi Content Platform (HCP)
• Basic operating systems skills for Microsoft ® Windows® (Active Directory), UNIX and
Linux
• Basic knowledge of Networking and DNS

Course Objectives

 Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:


• Describe the Hitachi Data Ingestor (HDI) solution
• Perform HDI software installation in the HDI Single Node and the HDI-VM
• Perform initial configuration of HDI
• Create File Systems and integrate with Active Directory
• Connect the network of HDI Cluster
• Perform the software installation in HDI Cluster Nodes

 Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:


• Use Hitachi File Services Manager (HFSM) to perfom an initial configuration
of HDI Cluster
• Describe the HCP Anywhere solution
• Perform Hitachi Content Platform (HCP) configuration for HCP Anywhere
• Perform initial configuration of the HCP Anywhere system
• Perform user file synchronization and sharing activities
• Set up profiles to configure user access to HCP Anywhere
