Our Due Diligence
We have strict policies surrounding reputational risk, and enforce these without exception for projects on which we partner.

• As part of our project screening and assessment process we seek to identify all material categories of risk, including country/local risk, physical project risk,
political/approval risk, 3rd party or advisor risk, and (where relevant) credit risk.

• We enforce strict anti-money laundering, anti-bribery and corruption, know-your-customer, and anti-modern slavery policies to protect ourselves and our
buyers from situations in which any such issues might arise.

• Examples that have led to project rejection in our screening process:

• Inability to trace the source of 3rd party funds.
• Incomplete fact patterns or red flags around contracting entities.
• Presence of politically-exposed parties who fail the requisite background checks.
• Requests for payments or excessive payments by 3rd parties where such payments are not proportionate or are inappropriate.
• Threat of expropriation by state or government body.
