population well-being. Kuwaiti
lifestyle-related ailments have
increased due to growing

The rise of fast-food franchises

contributed to Kuwaitis' rising
obesity, cardiovascular disease,
and diabetes.

Health issues due to changes
in lifestyle
Lifestyle changes, poor public health education, and
environmental factors shape Kuwait's health difficulties.
Al-Abdulrazzaq et al. (2022) examined how the COVID-19
pandemic affected children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes'
health-related quality of life.
The pandemic's effects on primary-age children with Type 1
diabetes and their parents' mental health, well-being, and
lifestyle are examined in Alazmi's (2023) study, emphasizing the
link between physical and mental health.
