Research Defense
The Effect of Crack Corn, Madre de cacao, Commercial Feeds on
Native Chicken

By Bernard Sebastian G Bautista

Problem
In recent years, many countries have experiencing an
increase in animal feed prices due to the growing
demand for products such as meat, dairy, and other
animal products due to the increase in the population of
developing countries such as the Philippines.
Solution
The researchers have thought of a solution; The
search for the effect of crack corn, madre de cacao,
and commercial feeds and what is the effect of
those products on the weight of the native chicken.
Background
One of the other reasons why the researchers chose these three products is
because Cracked corn is a healthy treat for chickens when fed in moderation as part of
a balanced diet. High-protein treats like Dried Mealworms are healthier, but cracked
corn is good in small amounts. And we chose madre cacao because the chemical
analysis showed that madre de agua leaf meal (MDALM) contained 88.44% dry
matter, 18.21% crude protein, 12.5% crude fiber, 2.66% crude fat, 21.80% ash,
11.56% moisture, 5% calcium, 0.41% total phosphorus and 2,983kcal/kg gross energy.
And the researchers chose commercial feeds because it is the most common food fed
to chickens if we are successful with this study we can determine what is the best for
chickens.

among all the Treatments, with a
mean of 483.33. In Treatment 2,
the mean is 553.33. In Treatment
3, the mean is 900 , which is the
highest among all the Treatments.
Conclusion
Conclusion
This study was conducted to test the best food needed by the chickens to grow healthy
In conclusion, this study aimed to define the best food for chickens
Overall, the results show that crack corn was the most effective treatment over the
three treatments
Recomendations
Despite the challenges, the researcher effectively experimented with the best food
for chickens. The researchers recommend that you should use crack corn in feeding
chickens 2 times a day. For those who will replicate this experiment the researchers
recommend try to feed the chicken at 7 am and 4pm
