Lorna Luft entered into the entertainment industry in 1963 as a singer. However, she earned her first movie role in 1971 after she was given the opportunity to appear in the stage musical titled “Promises, Promises”.
Since then, the American entertainer has been featured in loads of movies and television like “Where the Boys Are '84” and “My Giant”.
As a writer, she produced a publication in 1998 which was under the title “Me and My Shadows: A Family Memoir”.
Family
Her parents are Judy Garland, a renowned actress, and Sidney Luft, a producer. Her brother is Joey Luft and she’s the step-sister of Liza Minnelli. She married Jake Hooker in 1977, but they both parted ways in 1993. The marriage, however, produced two kids.
