The much-anticipated iPhone 16 series is now up for sale in India. Eager buyers lined up outside stores well before the doors opened at 8 AM. Some customers began queuing as early as 6:30 AM, while die-hard fans have reportedly been waiting since last night to be among the first to get their hands on Apple’s latest flagship device.
The Apple-authorized store in Saket, Delhi saw massive turnouts, with long lines forming outside even before dawn. Many of these stores have set up special counters and staff to manage the overwhelming foot traffic, ensuring a smooth and efficient buying process for customers.
We talked to an Apple lover, one of the early birds waiting outside a store in Delhi, said, “I’ve been an Apple fan for years. I have been using the iPhone for a long time and I didn’t want to miss the chance to be one of the first to own the iPhone 16. I came here last night to make sure I’d be at the front of the line. I would be buying the iPhone 16 Pro Max in Desert Titanium while I have the iPhone 15 Pro Max right now.”
The iPhone 16 comes in multiple variants, with prices in India starting at Rs 79,990. Early buyers will also be benefiting from various launch-day offers, including exchange deals, no-cost EMI options, and exclusive bank discounts, further fueling the demand.
iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max Pricing in India
Apple has officially launched the iPhone 16 lineup in India with competitive pricing across various storage options. The base model, iPhone 16 128GB, is priced at Rs 79,900 but is available at Rs 74,900 after a Rs 5,000 discount. The 256GB variant is priced at Rs 84,900 after the discount.
For those looking for larger screen options, the iPhone 16 Plus starts at Rs 84,900 for the 128GB model and Rs 94,900 for the 256GB version. The 512GB model of the iPhone 16 Plus is available for Rs 1,14,900 after a Rs 5,000 reduction.
The iPhone 16 Pro, starting at Rs 1,14,900 for the 128GB variant and going up to Rs 1,64,900 for the 1TB version, also comes with a Rs 5,000 discount across all storage configurations.
For the premium iPhone 16 Pro Max, the 256GB model is available at Rs 1,39,900, while the 1TB version is priced at Rs 1,79,900 after applying the Rs 5,000 discount.
These discounts make the iPhone 16 series more accessible, and offers like no-cost EMI and bank discounts further sweeten the deal for early buyers.
