A Message from Mayor Tom Howley

A Holiday Message from Mayor Tom Howley

Greetings, Greenwood Lake!

I hope this message finds you all in great spirits as we continue to enjoy the holiday season in our beautiful village.

First and foremost, I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Carmine and the entire team at Trattoria Italiana Greenwood Lake for hosting the Santa Meet and Greet at the Greenwood Lake Community Center this past weekend. It was a wonderful event that brought joy and holiday cheer to so many of our residents, and we’re grateful for the generous support and community spirit shown by Carmine and his staff.

Looking ahead, I’d like to remind everyone that the Menorah Lighting will take place on Saturday, December 28th at 6:00 PM at Winstanley Park. This is always a beautiful and meaningful event, and we encourage all our residents to join in as we come together to celebrate the holiday season.

As we continue to experience winter weather, please remember that there is no overnight parking allowed on village streets. This is vital so that our snowplows can effectively clear the roads in the event of snow. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated as we work to keep our community safe and accessible during the winter months.

Finally, I would like to take a moment to wish Merry Christmas to all of our residents! May your holiday season be filled with love, warmth, and happiness.

Thank you for being part of our wonderful village, and I look forward to seeing everyone at the Menorah Lighting!

Warm regards,
Tom Howley
Mayor of the Village of Greenwood Lake
