The sheriff’s office said McFatten was arguing with someone over the $40 when he grabbed that person by the shirt and knocked their cell phone out of their hands.
Law enforcement responded to what what could have been a life-threatening situation Wednesday evening after a man climbed to the top of the Douglas water tower located behind City Hall.
According to Georgia Law 16-5-21, “a person convicted of the offense of aggravated assault shall be punished by imprisonment for not less than one nor more than 20 years.”
