As with all our events and community initiatives, our in-person conference is open for people of marginalised genders.

We define "people of marginalised genders" as women, non-binary people, transgender men, among many other marginalised gender identities.

For most of our conferences, registration opens at 9am and the first session starts at 10am.

The last session finishes at 5pm followed by our after-party till 8pm.

There will be several breaks throughout the day, including a lunch break.

Yes, we will have several breaks throughout the day, as well as an after-party; there will be lots of opportunities to network.

We will also invite all attendees into our WTSFest event app prior to conference day.

It's a great way to connect with one another and make plans before the event!

Our agenda is tightly packed, so we won't have time for Q&A during the sessions, but our speakers will be around the whole day, so please do go up and ask them questions during the breaks.

There is not a dress code at WTSFest. Please wear whatever you're comfiest in.

Yes, we are! Thanks to our Scholarship Sponsors and folks who choose to buy scholarship tickets, we are able to give them away to those who cannot afford to buy a ticket, simply fill out our Scholarship Form.

A few months prior to each event we will contact everyone who filled out the form to inform them if they won a scholarship ticket.

Your invoice and ticket will be sent via email after purchasing. On the day of the event, show up at our Registration Desk, and we'll give you your lanyard.

We won’t be able to hold tickets, so please pay directly via tito, our ticketing platform embedded on each location page.

Yes - a light breakfast, a delicious lunch, and coffee, tea and snacks throughout the day. We will also have drinks at our after-party.

We use our sponsorship fee to pay for our venue, suppliers, photographer, videographer, and logistics fees; and most importantly, we pay our speakers because the work they put into their talks are one of the main reasons people decide to attend our conferences.

WTSFests are organized by Women in Tech SEO Founder, Areej AbuAli, and Managing Director, Erin Simmons.

We have a brilliant crew join us at each event and a number of community members volunteering on the day as well to help support attendees.

For our London conference, as it is taking place during half term, we are researching a number of creche suppliers and working closely with our venue on arrangements. Once confirmed, we will inform all our attendees with the detail.
