ATP 합성효소 서브유닛 g, 미토콘드리아 는 사람에게서 ATP5MG [5] [6] [7] 유전자에 의해 암호화되는 효소 이다.
미토콘드리아 ATP 합성효소는 산화적 인산화 동안 내막을 가로지르는 양성자의 전기 화학적 구배를 이용하여 ATP 합성을 촉매한다. 용해성 촉매 코어 F1과 양성자 채널을 구성하는 막 스패닝 성분 Fo라는 두 개의 연결된 다중 서브유닛 복합체로 구성됩니다. F1 복합체는 3 알파, 3 베타 비율로 조립된 5개의 서로 다른 서브 유닛(알파, 베타, 감마, 델타, 엡실론)과 나머지 3개의 단일 대표로 구성된다. Fo에는 9개의 서브유닛(a, b, c, d, e, f, g, F6, 및 8)이 있는 것 같습니다. 이 유전자는 F0 [7] 복합체의 g 서브유닛을 암호화한다.
서브유닛 G의 기능은 현재 알려져 있지 않다. 지금까지 [8] 확인된 엽록체나 세균성 F-ATP에는 대응 물질이 없다.
