홍콩의 공식 기념물
Declared monuments of Hong Kong홍콩의 신고 기념물은 법적으로 최고 수준의 보호를 받을 수 있다고 선언된 장소, 건축물 또는 건물이다. 홍콩에서는 기념비를 선포하려면 고대유물자문위원회의 자문과 최고책임자의 승인, 관보에 고시 게재 등이 필요하다.[1]
2013년 2월 현재 101개의 선언 기념물이 있으며, 이 중 57개는 정부가, 나머지 44개는 민간단체가 소유하고 있다.[2] 2021년 7월 16일 현재 홍콩에는 129개의 선언 기념물이 있으며, 홍콩 섬에는 54개, 신대륙에는 53개, 카우룽 섬에는 13개, 외딴섬에는 9개가 등재되어 있다.[3] 유물 및 기념물 조례에 따라 일부 다른 건물은 1등급, 2등급, 3등급의 역사적 건물로 분류되며, 아래에 열거되지 않는다.
기념비선언 및 역사건축물등급제
등급이 매겨진 건물과 기념물 사이에는 직접적인 연관성이 없었다. 2007년 7월 현재 607개 동이 등급이 매겨진 상태(1980년 이후)이며, 이 중 1등급 건물 5개 동을 포함해 54개 동이 철거되었다. 2007년 8월 현재 1등급으로 분류된 151개 건물 중 1980년 이후 기념물로 선포된 것은 28개 건물뿐이다.[4]
2008년 11월 26일, 유물 자문 위원회는 기념물 선언이 역사적인 건물들의 등급화와 관련이 있을 것이라고 발표했다.[5]
제안 기념물
고대유물관리청(개발처)은 철거에 직면하는 건축물에 대하여 제안된 기념비를 선포할 수 있으므로, 해당 건축물에 대한 즉각적인 철거방지를 제공할 수 있다. "제안된" 상태의 선언은 12개월 동안 유효하며 연장될 수 있다. 그러나 영향을 받은 소유자는 "제안된" 상태에 반대할 수 있다.[6] 1982년과 2012년 사이에 5개의 건물이 제안되었다. 오헬 레아 시너고그(1990년 1등급), 모리슨 빌딩(2004년 후속 선언), 제스빌(후속 선언), 인레이 왕(2008년 후속 선언), 호퉁 정원(2013년 철거) 등이다.[2] 헝라우는 2017년 3월 9일 제안 기념비로 선포돼 이후 1등급 지위를 유지했다.
