프랜시스 치커링은 매사추세츠 주 데덤의 초기 정착자로, 매사추세츠[1] 주 대법원과 그 마을의 선정 위원회에서 15년간 근무했다.[2][3]그는 또한 오늘날 데덤 공립학교로 잘 알려진 미국 최초의 공립학교의 교사였다.[4]
