The 2025 Mid-Year Meeting will take place March 24-29 in Palm Springs, CA, hosted by The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens.
The Mid-Year Meeting is a working meeting that features education, networking, and social events with more than 1,000 zoo and aquarium professionals from across the country. Peer-developed program meetings, roundtables, and workshops in an interactive format will challenge attendees to collaborate and promises ample opportunity to learn and discuss issues critical to the AZA community. Annual Conference
The 2025 AZA Annual Conference will take place September 13-18 in Tampa, Florida hosted by The Florida Aquarium, ZooTampa at Lowry Park, and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay.
Registration and housing will open in early May. A more detailed schedule of meetings and sessions will be available in June. View the Schedule At A Glance for a quick overview of the schedule.
Interested in Presenting? The Call for Presentations is now open. Hundreds of submissions are received each year by the Annual Conference Program Committee and all are carefully evaluated for quality, timeliness, creativity, and relevance. Proposal formats include:
- 90-minute Session
- 40-minute Session
- 15-minute Individual Presentation
- 5-minute Buzz Presentation
- Poster Presentation
The deadline for proposals is Friday, April 4. AZA does not accept late submissions.

The Annual Conference is the largest, most comprehensive zoo and aquarium professionals’ event in the country. Attending the AZA Annual Conference provides opportunities to:
