Bob Wieckowski
Bob Wieckowski (Democratic Party) was a member of the California State Senate, representing District 10. He assumed office on December 1, 2014. He left office on December 5, 2022.
Wieckowski ran for election to the Alameda County Board of Supervisors to represent District 1 in California. He lost in the primary on March 3, 2020.
Wieckowski (Democratic Party) also ran for election to the U.S. House to represent California's 15th Congressional District. He did not appear on the ballot for the primary on March 3, 2020.
Wieckowski previously served in the California State Assembly, representing District 25 from 2010 to 2014. He began serving as a member and vice mayor of the Fremont City Council in 2004. He also became a member of the Alameda County Democratic Central Committee in 2004.
Biography
Wieckowski earned his B.A. in political science from the University of California Berkeley in 1977 and his J.D. from Santa Clara University in 1985. His professional experience includes working as a lawyer for the Law Office of Robert A. Wieckowski and serving as staff assistant to United States Congressman Edwards from 1977 to 1982.

Elections for the California State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election took place on June 3, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 7, 2014. Bob Wieckowski (D) and Peter Kuo (R) defeated Mary Hayashi (D), Roman Reed (D) and Audie Bock (I) in the blanket primary. Wieckowski defeated Kuo in the general election.[1][2][3]

2012
Wieckowski won re-election in the 2012 election for California State Assembly District 25. Due to redistricting following the 2010 census, he was displaced from District 20. He advanced past the blanket primary on June 5, 2012, defeating Pete McHugh (D). Wieckowski defeated Arlyne Diamond (R) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[4][5][6]
2010
Wieckowski defeated Garrett Yee in the June 8 primary election. He then defeated Republican Adnan Shahab in the November 2 general election.[7][8]
