My name is Joe Campbell. I have fought for Ohio workers and families for over 45 years. I am a leader who will champion the fight to end the republican corruption and sea of dirty-money that currently flows through the Ohio Statehouse. Our great State and 38th district deserve better. I am the honest choice for Ohio. I stand for integrity, ethics, civility, being transparent and a civic duty to others. I am a proud democrat with a long history of leadership of fighting for the values, ethics and vision for all Ohioans. I will fight for the people of the 38th district and all of Ohio. I have operated small businesses for decades and have been on the front line working to give the small business owners a fighting chance to be a vital part of our communities. I will bring these values to the State of Ohio House of Representatives. Ohio's best days are in front of us.

  • We must clean up the corruption currently in our Ohio government. The people of Ohio deserve better! Roemer/Householder and the corrupt Bill HB6 must be replaced and repealed. Vote them out!
  • When elected, I will initiate and partner to create a full and comprehensive economic recovery plan that includes incentives and aid for small businesses. They are the backbone of our great state.
  • The COVID-19 crisis, has defined and determined the way in which we live today. Our health, wellbeing and safety are in the hands of each and every citizen of Ohio. We must protect and care for all Ohioans.
The men and women we elect to represent Ohio are supposed to be the firewall, the ethical and moral guardians that protect us from corruption and greed. They are not supposed to be a pipeline for illegal, unethical actions in regards to dirty money. Bill Roemer, House Representative of the 38th district received over $200,000 dollars of dirty money from Larry Householders various illegal and corrupt actions. Bill Roemer betrayed the trust of the citizens of Ohio!

When elected as state representative of Ohio's 38th district, my most important priority is to be the firewall. To serve, represent and be an advocate of every citizen in the 38th district and the great state of Ohio. I will practice my ethical responsibility to be fully transparent and be the moral guardian that protects the citizens of Ohio from the corruption and greed that runs rampant in Ohio's state government today.

Vote for Joe Campbell on Nov. 3rd, the HONEST CHOICE for OHIO!
November 22, 1963. I was in my second grade classroom in Vicksburg, MI and a woman came into the classroom and whispered to my teacher Mrs. Skippers, who then became so distraught that she had to leave the room. As she was leaving, a voice came across the public address system stating that President John F. Kennedy was dead. I remember vividly that it felt as if time stood still. Even now, the weight of this moment can still make it feel like time is standing still.

To name a few, the economy, healthcare and the environment.

1. I will fight to increase access to healthcare for all Ohioan's, improve preventative health and protect the basic healthcare services for women and families.
2. I will work to promote accountability in the budget and avoid wasteful spending. I believe it is imperative that we continue to fund important programs to improve Ohio's healthcare system.
3. I will work to develop educational and job-training programs that meet the changing demands of a 21st century economy. Working to make the cost of college more affordable. Making trade and vocational programs available and accessible. Having a well-trained Ohio workforce will attract businesses that keep good jobs in the 38th District and Ohio.
4. Another top priority is on Ohio's infrastructure. This is a key part of the foundation of Ohio's economy. Our roads, bridges, highways, public transportation and water systems are in desperate need of restoration and repair. I am determined to improving the way we get to and from work and how we transport our goods to market.
5. COVID-19 has brought to light the urgency of providing rural access to broadband internet services. Helping to keep all children on an even educational playing field. Internet access in the 21st century is an essential tool for the health, education, job security and quality of life for every Ohioan.
6. We are all stewards of this great state. We owe it to those who fought to stop the poisoning of our waterways, improve the air we breathe and to protect the land we live on. I have been fighting to protect our Ohio waterways, land and air quality my entire adult life. Having spent most of my younger years in the waterways throughout Ohio and I have seen first hand how easy it is to tip the ecological scales.

We respectfully ask for your vote on November 3rd! Vote Joe Campbell, the HONEST CHOICE for OHIO!
Yes. I believe it is the obligation of every elected representative to be open minded, willing and able to listen, learn and work together across party lines. It is only then, that we find a common ground that ensures the health, safety and well being of all Ohioans.
The biggest and most constant concern and topic I hear about daily from the residents of the 38th district, is how frustrated and angry they are after learning about the level and depth of the corruption in Ohio's current government. They are especially angry at Bill Roemer, who they have come to learn has betrayed their trust. Bill Roemer was among the largest recipients of political campaign contributuions from indicted Speaker of the House Larry Householder. To ensure his bet on Roemer, Householder orchestrated over $200,000 to be spent on Roemer's campaign. Bill Roemer voted for House Bill 6 and the $1.1 Billion bail-out of First Energy's nuclear power plant.
