I am a pediatrician and a mother. I am running because of my experiences in my clinic and seeing the issues that Ohioans are facing. I am also a mother of a special needs child and through this experience have learned how difficult it is to navigate through the healthcare world. I want to be an advocate for families who are going through the same struggles. I started my political journey working for gun violence prevention, mostly working on safe gun storage and responsible firearm ownership. I also have a Master's in Public Health and am passionate about making Ohio a healthy and safe place to live.

  • Improving healthcare. This includes increasing access to healthcare, addressing the physician, nursing and mental health care provider shortage and reducing the cost of healthcare. This also includes protecting reproductive rights and limiting government intervention in healthcare settings.
  • Supporting public education. This includes fairly funding our schools to reduce our reliance on property taxes. It also includes fighting against the voucher program which is pulling money away from our public schools into funding private school education.
  • Supporting sustainable local growth in our communities. Supporting local governments and their needs and providing infrastructure for our fast-growing county.

Healthcare, education and gun violence prevention.

I believe that it is the responsibility of those elected to this position to be a voice for the constituents, to listen to their needs and concerns and work to support them.
