Werner Lange participated in Ballotpedia's candidate survey on March 27, 2018. The survey questions appear in bold, and Werner Lange's responses follow below.[8]
What would be your top three priorities, if elected?
“ | 1) universal health care, single-payer system; universal paid maternity/paternity/family leave 2) jobs with justice; Marshall Plan for Appalachian Ohio; living wages for all employees. |
” |
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about? Why?
“ | With the rise of the tyrannical Trump regime, America is closer to fascism than ever before. This plunge into the abyss must be stopped and reversed. There must be systemic change across the board, the kind promoted by the Sanders-inspired Our Revolution movement which I passionately advocate. As a war refuge from the rubble that was Germany after WWII, I know the grave dangers the Trump regime poses, and I will struggle to overcome them in any way; at any place; and for as long as I can. That passion is driven by love - for my grandchildren and all children of the world. Their future must be better than the present, and I will fight like hell to bring down a bit of heaven for them and us all.Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; invalid names, e.g. too many[7]
