and that he died for all, because that they which live, should not henceforth live unto themselves: but unto him which died for them and rose again.
Nevertheless, we yet see not all things subdued unto him. But him that was made less than the angels, we see that it was Iesus: which is crowned with glory and honour for the suffering of death; that he, by the grace of God, should taste of death for all men.
Hereby are we assured of love: because he left his life for us: And therefore we ought also to give our lives for our brethren.
For first of all, I delivered unto you that which I received: how that Christ died for our sins, agreeing to the scriptures,
For what the law could not do, inasmuch as it was weak because of the flesh - that performed God, and sent his son in the similitude of sinful flesh, and by sin damned sin in the flesh;
which gave himself for our sins, to deliver us from this present evil world, through the will of God our father,
Forasmuch as Christ hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, for to bring us to God, and was killed, as pertaining to the flesh: but was quickened in the spirit.
Much more then, now seeing we are justified in his blood, shall we be saved from wrath through him.
and they sung a new song saying, "Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof, for thou wast killed, and hast redeemed us by thy blood, out of all kindreds, and tongues, and people, and nations,
But now in Christ Jesus, ye which a while ago were far off, are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
Forasmuch as ye know how that ye were not redeemed with corruptible gold and silver from your vain conversation, which ye received by the traditions of the fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb undefiled, and without spot,
but and if we walk in light even as he is in light, then have we fellowship together, and the blood of Jesus Christ his son cleanseth us from all sin.
And I said unto him, "Lord, thou knowest." And he said unto me, "These are they which came out of great tribulation and made their garments large, and made them white in the blood of the lamb:

As they did eat, Jesus took bread and gave thanks, brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, "Take. Eat. This is my body." And he took the cup, and thanked, and gave it them, saying, "Drink of it every one. This is my blood of the new testament, that shall be shed for many, for the forgiveness of sins.
And as they ate, Jesus took bread, blessed and brake it and gave it to them and said, "Take, eat; This is my body." And he took the cup, gave thanks, and gave it to them, and they drank all of it. And he said unto them, "This is my blood, of the New Testament, which is shed for many.
And he took bread, gave thanks, and brake it, and gave it unto them, saying, "This is my body which is given for you. This do in the remembrance of me." Likewise also, when they had supped, he took the cup saying, "This cup is the new testament, in my blood, which shall for you be shed.
- whom God hath set forth for a mercy seat through faith in his blood, to show the righteousness which before him is of valour, in that he forgiveth the sins that are passed,
Purge therefore the old leaven, that ye may be new dough, as ye are sweet bread. For Christ our Easter lamb is offered up for us.
and walk in love even as Christ loved us, and gave himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice of a sweet savour to God.
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his son to make a satisfaction for our sins.

Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, whereof the holy ghost hath made you overseers: to rule the congregation of God, which he hath purchased with his blood.
But Christ hath delivered us from the curse of the law, and was made accursed for us - for it is written, "Cursed is everyone that hangeth on tree" - that the blessing of Abraham might come on the gentiles through Jesus Christ, and that we might receive the promise of the spirit through faith.
By whom we have redemption through his blood, that is to say, even the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace,
Which hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear son, in whom we have redemption through his blood, that is to say, forgiveness of sins,
for he hath made him to be sin for us, which knew no sin, that we by his means should be that righteousness which before God is allowed.
For we have not a high priest, which cannot have compassion on our infirmities: but was in all points tempted, as we are: but yet without sin.
which did no sin, neither was there guile found in his mouth: which when he was reviled, reviled not again: when he suffered, he threatened not: but committed the cause to him that judgeth righteously, which his own self bare our sins in his body on the tree, that we should be delivered from sin and should live in righteousness. By whose stripes ye were healed.
And ye know that he appeared to take away our sins, and there is no sin in him.
Such a high priest it becometh us to have, which is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than heaven. Which needeth not daily - as yonder high priests - to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's sins. For that did he at once for all, when he offered up himself: For the law maketh men priests, which have infirmity: but the word of the oath that came since the law, maketh the son priest, which is perfect for evermore.
Now hath he obtained a more excellent office, inasmuch as he is the mediator of a better testament, which was made for better promises. For if that first testament had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.
And for this cause is he the mediator of the new testament, that through death which chanced for the redemption of those transgressions that were in the first testament, they which were called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
Of the things which we have spoken, this is the sum: that we have such a high priest, that is sitten on the righthand of the seat of majesty in heaven; and is a minister of holy things, and of the very tabernacle which God pitched, and not man.
For Christ is not entered into the holy places, that are made with hands, which are but similitudes of true things: but is entered into very heaven, for to appear now in the sight of God for us.
neither by the blood of goats, and calves: but by his own blood, we entered once for all into the holy place, and found eternal redemption. For if the blood of oxen, and of goats, and the ashes of a heifer, when it was sprinkled, purified the unclean, as touching the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ - which through the eternal spirit, offered himself without spot to God - purge your consciences from dead works, for to serve the living God?
And every priest is ready daily ministering, and often times offereth one manner of offering, which can never take away sins: but this man after he had offered one sacrifice for sins, sat him down for ever on the righthand of God, and from henceforth tarrieth till his foes be made his footstool.read more.
For with one offering hath he made perfect forever them that are sanctified.
Seeing, brethren, that by the means of the blood of Jesus, we may be bold to enter into that holy place, by the new and living way, which he hath prepared for us, through the veil, that is to say by his flesh.
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that there may be abundance of grace? God forbid. How shall we that are dead, as touching sin, live any longer therein? Remember ye not, that all we which are baptised in the name of Christ Jesus, are baptised to die with him?read more.
We are buried with him by baptism for to die: That likewise as Christ was raised up from death by the glory of the father: even so we also should walk in a new life. For if we be graft in death like unto him: even so must we be in the resurrection. This we must remember, that our old man is crucified with him also, that the body of sin might utterly be destroyed; that henceforth we should not be servants of sin. For he that is dead, is justified from sin.
Even so, ye my brethren; ye also are made dead as concerning the law by the body of Christ, that ye should be coupled to another - I mean to him that is risen again from death - that we should bring forth fruit unto God. For when we were in the flesh, the lusts of sin which were stirred up by the law, reigned in our members, to bring forth fruit unto death. But now are we delivered from the law, and dead from that whereunto we were in bondage: that we should serve in a new conversation of the spirit, and not in the old conversation of the letter.
But I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God. I am crucified with Christ. I live verily, yet now not I, but Christ liveth in me. For the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the son of God, which loved me, and gave himself for me.
God forbid that I should rejoice but in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, whereby the world is crucified as touching me, and I as concerning the world.
and hath raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly things through Christ Jesus. For to show, in times to come, the exceeding riches of his grace, in kindness to us ward, in Christ Jesus.
