All scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness;

Of this church I became a minister according to the stewardship from God which was given to me for you, to make the word of God fully known, the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the saints.

He who says, "I know him," but does not keep his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps his word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in him:

So the law is holy, and the commandment is holy and just and good.

But we know that the Law is good, if one uses it lawfully,

For I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole counsel of God.

For I would have you know, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man. For I did not receive it from man, nor was I taught it, but I received it through a revelation of Jesus Christ.

he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, as a plan for the fullness of the times, to unite all things in Christ, things in heaven and things on earth. In him

Of this gospel I was made a minister according to the gift of God's grace which was given me by the working of his power. To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, and to make plain to everyone the administration of the mystery which for ages has been hidden in God who created all things; so that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places. To them God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me.

And going a little farther he fell on his face and prayed, "O my Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will."

And he said, "Abba, Father, all things are possible for you. Take this cup away from me; yet not what I will, but what you will."

"Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; nevertheless not my will, but yours, be done."

Jesus said to them, "My food is to do the will of him who sent me, and to finish his work.

"I can do nothing of myself; as I hear, I judge; and my judgment is just, because I seek not my own will but the will of him who sent me.

Then I said, 'Behold, I have come to do your will, O God,' as it is written of me in the roll of the book."

grace to you and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father,

this man, delivered over by the predetermined plan and foreknowledge of God, you nailed to a cross by the hands of godless men and put him to death.

for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and dignity. This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,

who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

So it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.

For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved.

The Lord is not slow about his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.

And one of them, a lawyer, asked him a question, to test him. "Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?" Jesus said to him, "'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.'read more.

And one of the scribes came up and heard them disputing with one another, and seeing that he had answered them well, asked him, "Which commandment is the first of all?" Jesus answered, "The first is: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord.

And he answered, "'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind'; and 'your neighbor as yourself.'"

But whoever keeps his word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in him:

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
