You will break them with a rod of iron;
You will shatter them like pottery.” So now, kings, be wise;
receive instruction, you judges of the earth.
Serve the Lord with reverential awe
and rejoice with trembling.

Come to terms with God and be at peace;
in this way good will come to you.

Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, so that He may exalt you at the proper time,

“Therefore, you should pray like this:

Our Father in heaven,
Your name be honored as holy.
Your kingdom come.

For God has put everything under His feet. But when it says “everything” is put under Him, it is obvious that He who puts everything under Him is the exception. Children, obey your parents as you would the Lord, because this is right. Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise, so that it may go well with you and that you may have a long life in the land.

Therefore, as a fellow elder and witness to the sufferings of the Messiah and also a participant in the glory about to be revealed, I exhort the elders among you: Shepherd God’s flock among you, not overseeing out of compulsion but freely, according to God’s will; not for the money but eagerly; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. read more.
